When I first got my MacBook, it was on Ventura because it was one of the latest MacBook Airs the MacBook Air M2 15inch model, once I saw it was on Ventura I immediately upgraded it to Sonoma Developer Beta, and I’ve not suffered any issues with MacOS Sonoma, everything has been okay for me, no bugs or anything, so idk what you experienced on your version of MacOS Sonoma but I had 0 Issues with my install and run of Sonoma, speaking of which I am still using Sonoma on my Mac and the Developer Beta’s are on my Apple Watch and iPhone too so you’ll have to let us know what issues you experienced since there weren’t really any listed from the last video and you didn’t add on anything new on this video, so I’d really like to know if you would be able to share your experience with MacOS Sonoma, it could just be that you were used to Ventura and enjoy that more and worried that the Beta may cause issues and for that I don’t blame you but I’ve not had any issues but I would really enjoy hearing about your experience on MacOS Sonoma :3 Thanks

Also I upgraded through the System Settings and had no issues, again not sure what issues you had but I’m sure both the System Settings and the Upgrade Utility App are both ways of installing the latest MacOS without issues

Hi. I glad Sonoma has been okay for you. I'm actually not worry or scared about the beta may cause issues just because I'm used to Ventura as you said. I've been using a Mac for 3 years so I have a bit of experience with a Mac.
My original plan was installing Sonoma onto another partition through the Upgrade Utility App in the first video but it ended up being upgrading straight away on the Ventura partition which I do not want. I thought it will open the Upgrade Utility App as I saw some people did that in the past but it went different route instead as this is my first time trying beta on a Mac.
When I filmed that video, that particular beta was still in an early stage so it's normal to have issues. There are 3 issues that I've encountered which I find it quite annoying and made me want go back to Ventura when I was using Sonoma Developer Beta few months ago.
First, the Alert "(null)" issue. Sometimes when I want to open certain apps, that will show up which is not a thing in previous macOS. I heard it's been fixed already.
Second, the animations. I notice the animations looks choppy. The animation wasn't as smooth as previous beta. As of right now, it's been out and I still heard that issue which is not okay in my opinion.
Third, the temperature increased. I know that Intel Macs always heat up all the time compare to Apple Silicon Macs but Sonoma makes it even more hotter. When I'm on the desktop without any app running in the background, it's always around 40C/104F on Ventura but when I'm on Sonoma, it's always around 60C/140F which is not normal consider that 60C/140F is only when I do actually have lots of apps running.

@@theevanyeoh Hey there! Yes I totally understand, it's annoying when you don't get an option to select a partition and it just goes and updates, I'm sorry you had to suffer with that, I too have heard about the Alert "(Null)" issue and whilst it hasn't happened to me I've no longer been hearing anyone else complain about it occuring for them so I'm glad Apple fixed that, and as for your Second thing, YES OMG I AGREE some of the animations are choppy or just don't function at all and crash, there's been this consistent issue for me where I'll open an application and the dock will just completely freeze up and the animation will stop on the application I opened being risen above the dock and enlarged as if my cursor was still hovering over it, to fix it it's terribly hard you have to open launchpad, select a different application, that application will then be risen up on the dock but still the dock won't come up so then you have to open the application terminator, and restart finder and then it's fixed, it's awfully long but I hope it gets fixed soon at least for me, other than that the animations have been perfect, like I said though this is a new MacBook Air that I have and so since you've been using MacOS and the multiple apps that you have a lot of the applications and modifications you made in Ventura may not work entirely on Sonoma until it's entirely released, although the Public Beta should also been more relaxed than the Dev Beta which is what I run but I enjoy testing more than Public Beta's to be honest. I'm sorry to hear about your 3rd issue, I hope Apple through coding are able to better optimise Sonoma as it heating up like that is bad not only for the device but the hardware too as the fans would need to push more air through than it should have to, I hope that Ventura is treating you well and as I always say to each of their own, every individual person likes their own feel and have has their own take on things so for you at least you like Ventura more at the moment because it's more stable for you and it doesn't have as many issues as Sonoma gave you whereas me I just like testing things and I like developing tools in my own time so I'm able to use and run the developer beta because I'm able to keep it mostly stable and not have issues everywhere! Thanks for your response, always good hearing from you - Btw it's Ryan (ZenDeuo) from Cash's Discord Server I'm just logged into a different account and couldn't be bothered to log into the main one lol, should have mentioned that in the last post but yeah, Have fun in MacOS! :)
