Fastboat From Bali To Lombok // Including Our Lombok Villa Tour

- Traveling by fastboat from Bali to Lombok is a great way to arrive at the island of Lombok, Indonesia. We left Ubud, Bali and had a great experience taking a 1 1/2 hour fastboat to our next destination. It was a bit wavy so Jill and the kids took some motion sickness medicine and that did the trick. Once we arrive in Lombok, we had already pre-arranged a driver to pick us up and he was on the docks ready to help with our luggage.
The 30 minute drive to Senggigi was eye-opening and beautiful. Once we arrived at our Lombok Villa we were excited to give you a Villa Tour of where our traveling family will be staying for the next month. Lombok, Indonesia brought us a welcoming calm with wider roads, less traffic, cleaner air, and slower pace of life compared to Bali. We felt like it was the perfect place for us to settle in for a bit.

That villa is amazing!! My husband spent his childhood on the island of Java swimming in the warm clear waters of the Java Sea. The frigid dark waters of New England just aren't the same. lol! You've inspired me to plan a trip for our family to Puerto Rico in 2020 (not like Indonesia, but cheaper for our family of 8). My husband got on board with the idea when he learned about the beautiful warm beaches. lol!
I can’t even image getting into the frigid waters in New England after spending time in the super warm waters of Indonesia! How exciting to be planning a trip to Puerto Rico, have you ever been there before?
