I have tried several different insoles and these are the best insoles I have ever used. $50.00 isn't a lot of money when compared to custom insoles that can cost hundreds of dollars. I have three pair and they have made a huge difference in comfort for me.
Hey Josh, thank you so much for reviewing these. I have high arches and that has always been a problem when it comes to wearing soccer shoes. I have had custom insoles and they had all the drawbacks you mentioned, especially now that shoes are much more flexible, lightweight, and lower profile compared to 10-20 years ago. I'm definitely considering picking up a pair. Thanks again!
Thank you! Thank you! I've been trying to find good reviews for this brand, but yours have been really compelling since you go more in-depth with the functionality of the insoles. I've been wanting to get the runpro version of the insoles and i felt this review was appropriate for the brand in general rather than any specific usage. Thank you again for the review. I look forward to getting a pair!
50 bucks is totally normal for a good pair insoles. I personally love my superfeet carbons. Because they are low profile, light but still sturdy and somewhat rigid. Ill have to try these tho. And josh have you ever compared the insole shapes and sizes between each model, and each brand? I did it yesterday and it was interesting what I actually found. I would say to just try it, because sole plate width is something people don't understand and this showed it clearly what actually changes a shoe's width.
I work at a Running Store which sells these soles for 35 bucks (in Germany). I bought myself a pair because my Nike shoes are very uncomfortable (i wear Ultra Boost most of the time). I gotta Say that these soles feel very good and my foot feels more secured.
i mean i guess you could say its not specifically for sports wear but they have different profiles, i have the superfeet black low profile insert and use them in my cleats and they work great.
I got the Med (Orange) insoles for my superflys and i can say that they are the most comfortable, and the best performing insoles i ever bought, definitely recommend this product!
The surface of the insole may be rough and it rubs on the layer of the skin under the foot, I had a bad experience especially on artificial grass during a hot day.
Hi Josh I know you don't do 'jersey showcase' anymore but still you updating your jersey collection? It would be interesting if you could do your top 5 or 10 best looking/favourite jersey.
I might sound silly but even a "demo video" or something I would watch. Not necessarily focus on this product but to share the experience with the vapor with the insole. Not really a performance benefit but hey if the boots feel more comfortable to your feet maybe you would/could play more confident?
I've been using them for the last few weeks. It's the newer version of the ones in this video. They feel pretty well the same, but with minor differences that you can say are improvements. Everything I say in this video is true for the newer version. Review coming soon by the way.
Hi Josh. I think that due to the high price of Top boots, they should make also a decent insole and not focusing only on the outsole and the entire look of the boot. They should offer more. For example, the Pure Chaos cost almost $300, they should have come with special insoles. What do you think??
I don't disagree with you, but at the same time, I don't think most people would care, or at least justify spending more money because of the insoles in the boots. It's a much harder element to market as being a special feature. Boot enthusiasts would know the difference, but the average consumer wouldn't.
I agree. There should at least be one boot on the market that is completely designed around the overall best playing experience for people that care about functionality in a boot. I think it would sell too because alot of people buying top end boots do alot of research before buying and if they knew that every other shoes insoles are low quality then that could affect their purchasing decision. For now, I’ll just add $50 to the cost of every boot for some in soles
Only time I changed my insoles was when I got turf toe (sprain on your big toe) and my Athletic Trainers gave me a metal insole so to prevent my foot from curling/pointing my toes and putting stress on my extremely painful big toe. If you've ever had turf toe, you'd know how bad it hurts to do anything with your feet. Thankfully it was on my nonkicking foot. Them taping it was not enough for my toe to feel better.
I can't say that I agree. It's a good concept given how good boost foam can be, but it's so thin, that it doesn't really feel different in comparison to a regular foam insole. There isn't any support from something like that either. Not really comparable to something like this.
These will be much better suited for use in soccer cleats/football boots in comparison to custom orthotics. These are lower-profile and far more flexible.
Hi Josh, in a really tough spot because my Vapor 15 Elite insoles ripped, and nike refuses to send me new insoles. Now I’m looking for new ones, most of them don’t even fit the boot because they’re too wide. Would these be good? Even though the Vapor 15 got the air zoom unit and the sole is cut out for it
They look interesting, but they're quite a bit different in comparison to these. I'll be making a review on those as soon as they're available. Stay tuned.
Ok look I have spent 8 days trying to find cleats. I play as a striker and I'm trying to find one that looks nice and is comfortable. My budget is $150. Any recommendations?
Your position and playing style has nothing to do with what shoes you should wear. Watch this video, it will explain some things you should know th-cam.com/video/8xZsLTf7t8A/w-d-xo.html
The insole in my left boot slides forward slowly as I play so by halftime it’s like an inch up in my boot and is all bunched up in the toes. VERY annoying and VERY uncomfortable. No idea now to prevent this because I’m pretty sure any type of glue would melt the insole
I know theyre completely different boots but in your opinion would you go for Ace Primeknit or Hypervenom Phantom TC? What would be your arguments in favour of each
So do you think it's fair to say that you would recommend these over the Superfeet Carbon? You did reference them briefly but didn't compare the two directly. (I personally don't have any feet issues, just looking for some extra support for indoor shoes)
Yes, I prefer these. The Superfeet Carbon is a high quality insole for sure, but for a soccer cleat/football boot application, the low profile design and flexibility of this insole just works and fits so much better. The fact that there are 3 different arch variations allows you to get an insole that is better suited for your feet as well.
Thanks for the quick reply. That's good information to know. Also just wanted to say thanks for your videos on the Munich futsal shoes, it's a really good brand that I don't think is very well known outside of Europe. By any chance have you tried the New Balance Audazo? (I couldn't see anything on your channel about them)
Hi Adam, not only that the currexSole offers 3 different arch profiles - they also differ in rigidity by size - larger foot equals on average more body weight - there is no over the counter insole with that feature
I have flat feet and wear plastic insoles on my day to day shoes and they are very uncomfortable, do you think these would be a good optionin my soccer shoes?
Josh, can you get hold of a pair of pantafola d'oro emidio italias for review? Or the lazzarini tongue variant? I'm trying to decide which I want to add to my collection. Thanks.
Can't wait. Both of those models look so sick. And I like the way their new soleplate are looking...more traditional than the funky middle studs. Do you know where the lazzarini tongue can be purchased? I can't find it anywhere. I'd be willing to buy overseas and have it shipped, but I just don't know where else to look. Prosoccerdirect does not have stock of the black colorway. They have not responded to my inquiry either.
Did you see any sliding/movement of sole in heel area? Once a while, I notice when I take off the cleats, heel area of sole moved & it's not where it started out. Don't feel much performance difference, but my OCD wonder, my heels are weird or soles are moving around while I playing. Just wondering this will reduce the movement.
Yes. The ACTIVEPRO is designed for low-profile fitting shoes, but they have an entire line as well, all specifically made for different types of shoes.
Josh, the other issue we had with Superfeet is the plastic support sticking out especially to the medial of the shoe, distorting the instep area. These look like they don't do that to the shoe...am I right?
You're right. You can see in the video how they look and fit inside of a very tighter fitting Vapor 11. They fit remarkably well due to the flexibility and low-profile design of the arch support element.
Hey Josh, I have the Hypervenom Phelon 3 fg a half size too small. Normally they are too short lengthwise. If I take the insoles out, they fit. Is this dangerous and a horrible idea? The metal plate in the cleat feels a bit uncomfortable directly against my foot. Should I just buy soccer cleats that fit instead of wearing these?
That's really up to you. The insole that comes with the boot is mainly there for the sake of comfort. I've never worn boots without the insoles, but if you're doing it and it isn't bothering you, go for it I guess.
Hey Josh! I have a pair of the medium currexSole ACTIVEPRO insoles, and I was wondering if you can wear trusox with these and still get the benefits of trusox? Thanks!
Hi Josh. What would be a better boot to play in between the pirlo tiempo and the copa 17.1 champagne? Like both boots performance wise so talking more aesthetically since I've seen some photos of the pirlo's where the dye appears to have run and the acc logo on the side is wearing off after "a few uses". Sole separation also seems to be an issue. Just want to know what you think.
The tiempo in general doesnt have to great of durability. My friend has gone through 2 pairs in less then 8 months even when using them on the correct grass type. Although the tiempo performance wise i think is much much better.
Hey Josh, i wear 11 us football boots. would the Large sized insoles fit my boots, ore do i need the xl size. I can't find the size chart of the insoles.
Hey Josh, I currently own a pair of Mercurial Vapor XI's and I really like the way it fits, but there is one issue. Because when I have them on feet, there is too much space at the top, where the laces are and when I pull the laces tight, it makes the tongue overlap other parts of the tongue, because there is simply too much space... My question is, do you think these insoles will push my foot high enough so that it really reaches the tongue and that I will have a fit like you have?
They definitely should help. I couldn't say for sure whether or not it will fill in all of the extra dead space though. You'd have to try them to find that out.
These are significantly more flexible and just work so much better in soccer cleats. The Superfeet insoles are too stiff and too bulky for 99% of cleats. These fit in everything.
Thank you. One last question. Do you feel this insert helps prevent a strain/tear of the achilles tendon? I strained mine two months ago. Dont want to re-aggravate it when I play soccer again.
Hey Josh my arch is almost perfectly in the middle of needing a medium and a high so which would you recommend would be the smarter option? I'm leaning toward the high arch product but would I cause further pain to myself?
I'm honestly not too sure? I would think that going with the medium arch would be better. Going with the high arch version would exaggerate the arch of your foot, which could actually cause discomfort rather than feeling supportive, I could be wrong, but that's my reasoning.
You want to support your foot, not force it into an uncomfortable position. If you have a low arch, and you wear insoles with a very high arch, it will likely be quite uncomfortable for you.
Ok so my foot is between a 10.5 and an 11( which ever one feels the best when getting different shoes since each shoe varies a little bit). Would I need to get two pairs of these if I got them?( one for 10.5s and one for 11s)
You're not in between sizes, it's just that some shoes have different sizing. Sounds like your true size is a 10.5, I'm assuming US, so that's what I would go for. As an example, I would wear a size 9US in a Mercurial Vapor 11 and a size 9.5US in a Magista Obra 2. The fit in length is the same, and the insoles are the same size, despite the shoe size technically being different. The Magistas just run half a size small.
according to the wbesite, im a low profile. however, i have really flat feet. wouldnt it make sense to get high profile in order to raise my arches to counter flat feet
No. Every foot is different, which is why they make different arch types. You want to properly support your specific foot type, not force it into an unnatural position. Too big of an arch will not be comfortable for you.
I've been having a problem with blisters on the bottom of my big toe. Right now my cleats (mercurial vapor IX) are about one size smaller than what I normally wear, would these help with that or do you think I should invest in a new pair of cleats. Also, what are a good pair of cleats with a similar quality upper as the vapor 9 that doesn't cost much. I don't want to spend more than $100
i baught new cleats adidas x 16.1, i am normally 8.5 so it would make sense to order 9, now i am out of luck as i can't return them. Will this sole make the fit closer or should I double up with the original sole?
They do put some glue, put you can pull them out pretty easily. They put just enough glue to prevent them from sliding, but not enough to fully glue them in the boots, like you might find on a lower-end shoe.
Hi Josh! I wouldn't mind spend 50 bucks for this If they help me out with heel pain or plantar fasciitis. It has a good heel support? I can tell the arch support it's really good but how about in the heel? It will help you with the stud pressure ? Thanks Bro
Supportive footwear/insoles is one of the main things you can do to help with plantar fasciitis. It changes the way that your foot sits in the boot and also changes your contact points at the base of the sole. They should help. Stud pressure on the other hand is more so related to actual boot and playing surface. No insole is going to impact that.
just way too much to justify for me. I have two pairs of trusocks and bought both at half of retail, felt bad even paying 25US for socks. Insoles that cost very little to produce at 50US?? Just way too much money
The production cost of any product has very little to do with the final retail price. There's huge costs associated with development, manufacturing, advertising, etc. You're entitles to your own opinion of course, but no company is producing a product and selling it at a loss or for the same amount it costs them to make it. It's just a silly way of looking at products.
HEY BRO. I HAVE A PAIR OF PUMA V1.11S IN K LEATHER. THE INSLOLES WEAR AWAY AND IM CURIOUS IF THIS IN SOLE FITS WELL IN THOSE SHOES SINCE IT HAS THE ANATOMICAL TO SHAPE THATS A LITTLE EXAGGERATED. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
Soccer Reviews For You yeah that's what I was thinking. Looks like I might be wearing cotton balls in my socks under my feet. The toe area always gets a hole on the insole that can become annoying.
No insole is going to change the shape of your foot, but something like this will make your foot sit differently inside of the boot that does feel more supportive, secure and comfortable.
I know this is 6 months late but please get arch support insoles I use easyfeet insoles the red ones plus cheap and they have helped so much I had a lot of knee pain after playing or even running but these are ok for flat feet but the thing is they are too soft and after a while the middle becomes soft meanwhile the ones I wear I’ve had them for over a year and they still are super supportive at first it does feel weird but after a while it feels like theirs nothing there trust me get these insoles and you your knee won’t hurt or even your back
I have tried several different insoles and these are the best insoles I have ever used. $50.00 isn't a lot of money when compared to custom insoles that can cost hundreds of dollars. I have three pair and they have made a huge difference in comfort for me.
I bought a pair of these for my ace 16.1 FG, they take a long time to get used to, but the time and money is so worth it, these are truly terrific
The 16.1 insoles are so bad. Need to be replaced for sure.
William Randall I'm getting it for 45

I work at a Running Store which sells these soles for 35 bucks (in Germany). I bought myself a pair because my Nike shoes are very uncomfortable (i wear Ultra Boost most of the time). I gotta Say that these soles feel very good and my foot feels more secured.
just to let you know superfeet also offers different arch supports like low, medium, ext
No, Bonbonalizer - Superfeet offers low, med high thickness for a generic insole that does not fit into a soccer boot
i mean i guess you could say its not specifically for sports wear but they have different profiles, i have the superfeet black low profile insert and use them in my cleats and they work great.
Is this review outdated? Or still the best?
I got the Med (Orange) insoles for my superflys and i can say that they are the most comfortable, and the best performing insoles i ever bought, definitely recommend this product!
Junior How does this work with the anatomicly shaped sole of the superfly?
Frido Tims The insole forms to your foot instead of the soleplate, which makes it very comfortable
@@reneftww2042how about issues with touch? Like does the insole poke out on the side, because most of them do
Did you ever record a session two times due to sound fails?
I can't say that I've had too many audio issues lately.

actually got a pair at home for a year or so but never tried it out. guess i ll give them a try next season.
Hi, do you have any experience with the currex cleatpro? They are very similar to these but seems slightly improved, are you planning to review them?
I've been using them for the last few weeks. It's the newer version of the ones in this video. They feel pretty well the same, but with minor differences that you can say are improvements. Everything I say in this video is true for the newer version. Review coming soon by the way.

Hey Josh, I've dealt with shin splints pretty much my entire life. Do you think that these could help prevent those?
I'm honestly not sure about how improvements in support would impact something like shin splints. That's something that you would have to look up.
@@Soccerreviewsforyouwell its about shock absorption. So yes, insoles play big role too.

I know theyre completely different boots but in your opinion would you go for Ace Primeknit or Hypervenom Phantom TC? What would be your arguments in favour of each
I prefer the Phantoms in general.
Does the leather impact on the tech craft model much or is it minimal? Also, do you think they would be any less durable than the normal version?
So do you think it's fair to say that you would recommend these over the Superfeet Carbon? You did reference them briefly but didn't compare the two directly. (I personally don't have any feet issues, just looking for some extra support for indoor shoes)

My insoles dont just pop out. I would need to peel them out and most likely rip them. Is that what I do or just place the new insole over it?
I would try just placing them on top first to see how that works. If they don't fit right, then I'd pull the stock ones out.
Thank you. One last question. Do you feel this insert helps prevent a strain/tear of the achilles tendon? I strained mine two months ago. Dont want to re-aggravate it when I play soccer again.

Are the copa 17.1 tangos k-leather? Not seen it listed anywhere as k-leather, only as full grain, but doubt adidas would make the uppers different.
As far as I know, yes. The upper feels the same as the FG model to me.
Thanks josh
Do you prefer the collared superfly or the ace 17 primeknit?
I think the Superfly is a much better example of a knitted boot.
Would this work well for something like a Mercurial Superfly V, where the soleplate is bent?
They fit in any boot.
Soccer Reviews For You thanks Josh I was a bit worried that would be the case and makes sense cheers for the reply 👌
How is the flattest foot the right fit for low arch? I would assume high arch is more accurate for flat feet. So confused
You want to support your foot, not force it into an uncomfortable position. If you have a low arch, and you wear insoles with a very high arch, it will likely be quite uncomfortable for you.
But what if my foot grows and i have to get myself new boots? New insole?
If you grew significantly, yes. Isn't that the case with any kind of sports equipment and clothes?
hey josh, i got a blister on my heel while wearing the vigor 1, how should i prevent this?
Check out this video, it should help you out th-cam.com/video/i5ZXuie99sg/w-d-xo.html
What do you think about the storelli speed grip insoles?
They look interesting, although they're quite a bit different in comparison to these. I'll be making a review on those very soon.
*Do you still feel the anatomical soleplate on your foot while wearing the insoles on the vapor 11?*
Yes.
whih boots are better josh. new balance visaro pro 2.0 or evopower vigor 2
I haven't tried the evoPOWER takedowns, so I couldn't really say how those are. I'm not a fan of the Visaro 2 though.
Soccer Reviews For You Would the ace 17.1 leather be a good choice?
Josh are there any replacement insoles that are specifically designed for artificial grass that could with stand that extreme heat?
Not that I'm aware of. These ones should hold up fine though.
*Hey josh, is the anatomical soleplate on the vapor 11 still effective with a TINY BIT of growing room in the shoe?*
Too big of an arch will not be comfortable for you.
do you think these would work in a takedown boot without a removable insole
I'm honestly not sure? I've never personally tried that. I know they recommend that you wear these as the only insole in your boots.
Hey I have a question.
Where can I find the Nike bomba finale II?
I'll try those insoles the ones I have gives me back pain after the games
Ebay would be your best bet at this point.
Do these affect your touch ? Please respond
It doesn't.
I don't want to spend more than $100
Are you consistently getting blisters in the same spot, or was it just a one time thing?
Soccer Reviews For You same spot, normally after a game or two at the beginning of the season they will go away but this year I keep getting them
My local soccer shop as Messi 15.1 on sale for $65 in my size, do those have a similar feel as the vapors?
i baught new cleats adidas x 16.1, i am normally 8.5 so it would make sense to order 9, now i am out of luck as i can't return them. Will this sole make the fit closer or should I double up with the original sole?
They run true to size.
in germany they are 30€. They are worth the money i got the running pro version for my casual sport shoes.
Man i can't thank you enough!
Josh which is better tiempo legend or umbro medusa
I much prefer the Legends, but they aren't really the same style of shoe.
Would this take away from the feeling of the shaped sole on the top end mercurial models?
No.
how do i know if i should buy low, mid or high arch?
I was wondering would a medium for the low version would fit in a 8.5 Mercurial Vapor? If you can please answer back it would help a lot
Any of them will fit in a Vapor.
Josh. Would the insoles help with mercurial super fly 4 heel problems
What heel problems are you referring to?
How long have you been using these ??
For about a month.
Can you remove the sole from the Mecurial vapour 11? or did you put the new sole over top of the original? might be getting these
You remove the stock insoles.
its always felt to me that the soles in them are glued, havent really tried pulling them out yet
They do put some glue, put you can pull them out pretty easily. They put just enough glue to prevent them from sliding, but not enough to fully glue them in the boots, like you might find on a lower-end shoe.
Great, thanks
do they work with ace 17.1 and wich one is the best option to make the shoe more snugg
They'll fit in any shoe. It's not a matter of one version being the best, you have to pick the correct version for your foot type.
Hi Josh!
I wouldn't mind spend 50 bucks for this
If they help me out with heel pain or plantar fasciitis.
Thank you josh 👊🏽
These will fit good in the evopower 1.3?
just way too much to justify for me.
+Soccer Reviews For You I understand that but think it is pushed too much, they make that money back soon enough, too unjustifiable for me
Jonathan Rodriguez Where did you get trusox for $25?
+Matt Fairchild ebay. They are authentic, have a pair of my own I bought for 30us at a store
I'm going to buy 10 of these
+Soccer Reviews For you Recommend use for people with flat feet?
Absolutely.
HEY BRO. I HAVE A PAIR OF PUMA V1.11S IN K LEATHER. THE INSLOLES WEAR AWAY AND IM CURIOUS IF THIS IN SOLE FITS WELL IN THOSE SHOES SINCE IT HAS THE ANATOMICAL TO SHAPE THATS A LITTLE EXAGGERATED. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
You cut them to shape anyways, so I think they'd be fine. I'm not sure that they would be exactly the right shape in the toe area though.
Soccer Reviews For You yeah that's what I was thinking. Looks like I might be wearing cotton balls in my socks under my feet. The toe area always gets a hole on the insole that can become annoying.
I have flat feet this insole will definitely help ?
No insole is going to change the shape of your foot, but something like this will make your foot sit differently inside of the boot that does feel more supportive, secure and comfortable.
Josh, what would you do for boots that do not have removable insoles? like the Adidas X16.3 Indoor
I'm fairly confident that you'd be fine just putting these in on top of the glued in insoles.
What would you guys recommend the medium or low for flat feet?
Generally low. There's a fitting chart listed on the review page of my site. It's the first link in the description if you want to check it out.
Soccer Reviews For You alright thx also how can I recover from turf toe beacuse my toes are still swollen after months
josh i know this is late but are these good for flat feet
I know this is 6 months late but please get arch support insoles I use easyfeet insoles the red ones plus cheap and they have helped so much I had a lot of knee pain after playing or even running but these are ok for flat feet but the thing is they are too soft and after a while the middle becomes soft meanwhile the ones I wear I’ve had them for over a year and they still are super supportive at first it does feel weird but after a while it feels like theirs nothing there trust me get these insoles and you your knee won’t hurt or even your back
How do I know what arch I need 😅
Depends on how high your arch is
how do these feel in a pair of purecontrols?
They fit fine. It doesn't fix the lockdown issues with the boot though.
