So, Imma just. List what I notice about this one. First of all, can't miss the reference to rileyclaws animatic in the opening shots. Nice. I'm assuming DT is in front of a picture of the general. And it's kinda sus how the book has all the primary colors...except red, which is probably under the ink spill. At 0:18 water shoots up from the puddle to form that flower. At the very end, Nova has a similar flower in her hair, and the same antennae creature is present 2:54. More on that later (rip the cicada) 0:25 OKAY SO DOES THE SNOW GOES YELLOW with the creature's powers. It's weird because the cult is based on yellow stuff. 0:41 now is where the black ink covering red is even more sus. If there was a Red Queen (dalia) at some point, then WHY is there no red kingdom?? Also the staff in the middle looks like the one they find in shut eye. Which Lyn gets. 0:57 at this point I'm pretty sure Nova is some sort of scientist. So I'm assuming they go to this prestigious school to...learn science? I think? But also magic? 1:08 staff! And Nova also has one! Is this school stuff? Are they just practicing? But Nova doesn't seem like they should have one seeing as they hide it from Lyn... And then I'm assuming there's a time skip 1:20 person on the left is familiar but I can't tell who it is. Pretty sure I've seen them in another animatic? Is it one of the Captains or Laila maybe? 1:26 I HAVE WORDS ANOUT THIS PART. ok so it reminds me of the flashbacks in sleepwalk. I'm probably entirely wrong but there's something about the scenery and then NOVA GETS A MEMORY SO UH. Clearly something happened there. 1:30 powers!! Cool. I love how she uses them to just. Get people's attention lmao. I'm assuming she goes to the temple to get info about the telekinesis. And learns about Mara? 1:47 I guess Nova doesn't like fireworks? Goes to call off DT and they have a sweet moment. I love they dynamic. 2:04 "you have a sword? I have a dagger!" 2:07 okay so they're leaving the city. Nothing like sneaking into the workplace with a random childhood friend. 2:36 soo why is nova so worried? What's the general telling DT? Does it have to do with prisms? Because it feels like it should given how Nova goes to look around and finds the blue one and they end up competing over the Yellow crystal in sleepwalk. 2:50 now it's later! Okay, antennae fused creature. First. Yellow powers. Yellow cult. Do they know about this entity? Feels like that's who they're worshipping Second. Paired with the lyrics and the fist gesture, it sounds like they're asking Nova to do something for them - maybe carry out a specific mission? Does it have to do with the yellow crystal? Or maybe it's more a prophecy kinda thing. The book is interesting... bookmarks of every color but again red is missing..

AND YESS I loved rileyclaws animatic so much, that's why I made mine :D The antennae creature is called Devan and you're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT it has something to do with the yellow cult, it's like they praise him because of his wisdom and powers and also Lysitea because of her connection with them! The yellow kingdom is know for being the most stable one and that's definitely due to Devan's help. Also yes, Nova and Lyn go to a school that is linked to the yellow cult and they get those staffs when they prove to be powerful enough, Nova is hiding hers because she does not deserve one at all 😭 The person at 1:20 it's called Ariel! and it's one of Nova's best friend, although I don't draw him much hahshah 1:26 YES YES that place is important for Nova's memory because it's where she got her powers from, it was kind of an accident and she's still getting used to them but she's doing the best she can!! 1:47 I'm so glad you like them!
