I was a Rams fan as a youngster in the days of Roman Gabriel, Jack Snow, Irv Cross, Eddie Meador and the Fearsome Foursome-Merlin Olson, Lamar Lundy, Roger Brown, Deacon Jones and Rosey Greer. Jones was once asked about stopping the run vs going after the wb, and he said, “you just rush the qb and take care of the run on the way in.” Up until Aaron Donald I thought Jones was the greatest DL guy ever. But watching Donald and how he forced offenses to account for him, I see Donald as the most dominant. He gave 10 productive years and I am grateful. But now the Rams have to acquire a top tier DL guy probably in the draft, unless they can pull off some miracle trade or FA signing.
Took me sometime to get over this but one hell of a career the greatest of all time did so much for this organization can’t wait till the statue is unveiled Nothing but love for AD 🐐🙌🏽

I think he’s contemplating all the double triple teams and it hasn’t made the game as fun. But I also wouldn’t put it past that he gets suspend all off-season with his family and could show up a week before the season in shape and ready to play.
Something tells me Aaron Donald and the Rams made a deal that he could rejoin the team towards the end of the year if they were in a playoff position it would help them with the salary cap he wouldn't put as much wear and tear on the body. he could play another 4 or five years like this but only receive about 1 regular year of punishment to his body and have a chance to win another Super Bowl I was actually thinking about this Scenario months ago it just makes too much sense just another way for the Rams to stay the competition. can you imagine a healthy fresh AD going into the playoffs every year.
