"Eyebrows are an event in time" is going to be my new motto. One half of one brow is platinum blonde, the rest is a super dark ash brown. I have never once in my life had brows that match so I FEEL this
"Watching this video for a little company" is exactly how I enjoy your channel 90% of the time. My sister's all know who you are because you frequently keep me company when they call me. The other 10% of the time, you're making me think about my habits, spending, aesthetic, or personhood. And then I rewatch the video for company...😂 Thanks for your work in the world, HLP!
As soon as you started explaining the intent of this video, I remembered having the same thoughts as the masses about your look in the declutter video. Turned out stunning once again. Such a fresh 2024 look! This is what I want to be doing with my makeup this year! 😍
as soon as you finished the mascara I had the a-ha! moment, definitely something about the fresh glossy eyes with the elongated lashes and the blocky brows for me 🤩
As a hair stylist for over 40 years, I can say with certainty. Changing hair products is something our hair loves. You can even do a grocery store shampoo once, and say the same exact thing! It's like our hair gets too used to it and stops that first great response!
i find using the bk beauty 208 brush dipped in some dark brown eyeshadow works perfect for the "freshly dyed brow" look, just a bout 2 small strokes in the sparse front part and suddenly I have brows. It is easier and looks more natural than a pencil, to me anyway. You look great as always!

Looking forward to seeing how you use the lip products in your newly decluttered collection and what you end up liking the most!

I remember watching that video and saying to myself "Oh, Hannah has definitely just finished recording this look. This is a look that one would film." So glad I wasn't alone!
Love!!! ❤ Also this type of minimalish look is the type that can accommodate nearly any lipstick. Been doing something similar to this with a bright but blotted lip. It's a great one for when you need to get out of the house quickly, and need to look like you tried, but w/o trying TOO hard. Perfect for a mom who wants to be put together but doesn't have a ton of time!
So many products you're using and playing with that were languishing forgotten at the bottom of the drawer... and you are clearly having FUN with them! You make me want to declutter every room in my house so that I can find new favorites in what I already own!

I am watching just for a little company! Or more specifically a little HLP, after rewatching multiple wardrobe videos by you today. Hoping for another one soon! Maybe a tour or a declutter? I shouldn't get my hopes up! I love hearing you talk anyway!
Thank you Hannah for making this video. I appreciate you not only recreating the look but sharing your thoughts on how the interplay between the products affected the final result. As always, it was a fun watch!
Hannah you’re better than ASMR! I love your speaking voice so much, you can sell me anything! The look is so dewy and healthy! I love it when you applied the blush!
I agree, the more soft-focus backdrop makes the brows have that graphic quality and the brow’s graphic quality in juxtaposition makes the complexion that much more soft, as a beauty mark or bold red lip would. For example, I always think of Sasha Velour’s makeup being so washed out in complexion but it’s really just her brows and lips that jump forward as though you were wearing 3D glasses
The way you talk about eyebrows is exactly how I feel about my winged liner. You’re drawing a geometric shape on a curved surface that moves, plus one of my eyes is more hooded than the other (and the extent of the asymmetry varies from day to day) so I’m trying to make the wings symmetrical on two totally different eyes 😂
I definitely noticed your look over all, and your eyebrows specifically, in that last video. But I’ve watched so many of your videos that I assumed they were freshly dyed lol. You’re always stunning. ✨
This had inspired me to recreate this look. I've been dealing with a long covid flare and haven't worn makeup in forever. It's so fresh and the something about the eye is so beautiful.
The way you were talking about brows, I completely agree! They're the most important & most tedious part of the makeup routine! I do so adore brows though!
The most stunning look ever. Makeup, hair, style. The quince cardigan reading as a cool espresso brown mingled with the warmer tones in your hair is simply beautiful 🤍
I feel like this is very much the look the latest Merit holiday kit was going for if they’d done multiple skin tones. Because I went out to kinda recreate it and ended up with something very similar to what you’re wearing here. Like the 90s loved “heavy natural” and I feel like this is “lifted natural.”
I am about to try this look! I'm going to dilute Glow Lust with either primer or a priming oil instead of skin glass, use Condensate on the cheeks, and a clear lip treatment. I'm so into seeing how others are duping the vibes!
I’m glad i’m not the only one who feels this way about my eyebrows. I often wondered why they would look good for weeks and then all of a sudden they looked so different. Lol.
TMJ is the bane of my existence. I found that a cbd/d8 topical with NO menthol or capsaicin is the only thing that helps for me. I hope your relief comes soon 💕
Beautiful look. I’ve been trying to experiment to get a more natural, dewy look like this but wasn’t sure exactly how. I love the wall color behind you too. I have a similar color, but it has more yellow tones instead of pink ones. I don’t know if I want to go through all the effort and expense for such a subtle change. But it’s so much prettier.
this is almost IDENTICAL to the way I’ve been doing my makeup for the past year and it’s the most flattering look I’ve ever worn. Not to mention it takes 15 minutes to achieve and when I’m really in a rush I can get it done in 10. AND it makes me look very youthful? I had my teenage nephew tell me I look 19. I am NOT 19. I find the key is finding the right shades for your skin. Keeping everything as close to your actual skin tone as possible, including your blush, and focusing on hydrated skin and well defined brows. There’s just something about it…
My face is sooo lopsided...I have two totally different brows. One has very fine hair and the other is thicker. I blame menopause 😢 I've been watching alot of menopause videos and most of us are going through it. There are so many symptoms that come with it and we need to educate ourselves. If you are 30 and over please have a convo with your doctor and have conversations with other women. I knew the basics but there is so much more to learn about it.
2024 so far is shaping up to be yet another horrid year for me Hannah. I didn’t actually watch the other video to which you refer (unusually for me) so I was just here for, as you say, the company. You succeeded in lifting my mood a little and that is my main goal going forward. Thank you, and you look marvelous.
ohmygosh hannah! you might be changing my life with this quince sweater! I ordered the Jenni Kayne Cocoon sweater and was underwhelmed so sent it back; but then I realized that they are pretty oversized and I'd sized up bc its a straight sized brand and am always worried it will run small on me. I was feeling like I didn't want to try again at that price point to see if a smaller size would work; since all I could remember was I didn't love it. Quince seems like a perfect compromise where I can order to see if I even like that style on me, and can get the fit right!
Thank you for this video! I’ve been into a similar look lately and it was just missing something. This helped me get the inspiration to play around with some specific products in my collection I was overlooking. I love the lashes step.
I would not have guessed it was the auric on your eyes! I had actually guessed you had done just a simple line with your glitter liner since you had mentioned that product in your declutter
Thanks so much for all your thorough makeup declutter videos! I've been meaning to declutter mine for ages, and your videos have me the push i needed to finally do it. I ended up decluttering my collection roughly by half, and I'm looking forward to passing on those products that didn't work for me to my sisters, who will hopefully find good for them and give those products a second life.
LOVE this video. Thank you so much for doing it. I’d almost like to see it one more time in a few months! And I think the secret was the Natasha denona class stuff - the base was so especially beautiful- paired with that wash of pale blush, the pretty mascara/eyeshadow duo, and the barely pink lips.
Doing a direct comparison between the previous video and this one: I think your lips were a lot darker before, and the light from above made your hair look like you had an angelic halo.
You are a treasure in our household. TREASURE, i say! My husband hears your voice and says, “Is that HLP?” He also frequently asks me to quote your outro motto for him.
Two weeks ago I bought the Monika Blunder cover in 1, and the Rose in LX010, and the shade matches have been phenomenal for me... Never had i such easy of application, it just melts into my skin. I hesitated for a long time; I was resisting your 'influence' :) . As a gift to myself I bought them (with a little bit of sale as icing on the cake) and I couldn't be happier. I'm neutral, very pale and verrry desaturated and these two accommodate that so well! And i have deep set eyes with actual purple under eyes so the high level of coverage actually work so well for me
@@beatdizzy I mainly bought it because my quest for actually matching base products was beginning to be ridiculous/hopeless. I do recommend reading/watching some other reviews though, a si can imagine it's not for all skin types. I don't really get oily so this texture works really well for me.
As someone who requested this, thank you! I feel seen, I feel heard ;) Edit: Now, having watched the vid, I agree-- I think it's the juxtaposition of the defined brow and the glossy skin with airy touches of color cosmetics. Very fresh, polished, and chic!
As someone who considers her natural eyebrows as one of her favorite features on her face, I will now be referring to them as "events in time". Makes them sound even more epic than they already are. 😆
I think it’s just an overall very fresh, pretty, youthful and light look. All the individual elements are sort of going for how we naturally look at 18 without makeup and still have our glow, natural brightness, and all our eyebrow hairs and eyelashes. 😊 It’s inspired me to back to wearing my makeup more like this! The biggest single factor, though, I’d personally say is the more filled in inner brows. Totally changes the structural balance of the face, narrows the weight at the nose/centre, and immediately signals youthfulness because we instinctually equate thinning brows with aging.
It's everything - all the component yes, but mainly I think it's the top lash only mascara - such a different look for YOU specifically - fresh, together, bright! I hope one step at a time is getting your through!
Your eye look is sorta what I do now. I use a shadow stick in my skin tone (it’s matte) and only mascara on the top. I actually never wear it on the bottom. Occasionally I use the sheer shiny Merit Glacé. Or my UD Space Cowboy glitter liner (which has gotten SO many comments actually). Even my skin tone. Barely there blush. The Chantecaille face powder compact that has some barely there sheen. Barely done brows. Neutral lip. I feel like it just livens me up but is very natural and approachable. Very similar to what you’ve done here. I’m loving this overall look
"If you're just watching for a little company" - that's me, I don't even wear makeup but I've been watching since your no buy year and I've even started experimenting with a little mascara and brow pencil 😅 #influenced!
I have a pic of a look similar to this. I love that picture. There are a few of the products you have used here... That i want. So bad. But when we simplify our look and also a healthy look is everything ❤.
The makeup turned out beautifully, though honestly since your new haircut I’ve been feeling inspired to try to get a razor cut that will shed some of the weight in my hair to let it’s natural texture easier to “live in”. If it ever moves you, I’d be be so curious to see your inspiration pics ❤
Oh! I’ve been wanting to tell you! About Face just launched their foundation….it has a doe foot applicator I love….but that isn’t what I wanted to tell you….they have fair w olive undertone shades! I got Light 2 w olive and I’m so smitten with it. Darn light coverage that feels similar to the consistency/texture of the givenchy concealers.
I own the majority of these products (from time spent watching your channel!) and I cannot wait to try this look! Really considering picking up the eyeshadow because I’ve been looking for a glossy eye topper that doesn’t that doesn’t actually darken/add much color to my lids!
So enjoyed this video and watching you try to recreate your previous look has given me ideas on some things I could try. Especially for my eyes where I always am looking for something simple to do yet end still looks polished rather than a muddy look (hence often I end up not doing my eyes).
Have you tried the Make Up For Ever redness corrector? I have rosacea and it’s the only thing I’ve ever been able to use that works where it still feels and looks like my skin after application. I swear by it and feel like I have to share it with everyone!
The collor of your hair is beautiful! Would you mind to tell us the Collor and Mark that you use? I have tried an infinite variation of Collors trying to acheive the right Collor for me.
You're always effortlessly beautiful. I feel the contrast between the brows, barely there makeup & glowy complexion just made for a striking & alluring look. I tried but l didn't confidence, less is more, x factor type situation 😅❤
Hi, my new friend who knows about makeup and skincare! I’m in my 40’s and only in the last 10 years started to learn about makeup. But I’m frugal/don’t have a lot to spend so I don’t do a lot in the way of skincare. I cleanse and moisturize, and recently started adding some vitamin E, and that’s it. At this point, I’m having skin changes due to hormone changes, and I would love some recommendations of nourishing +beautifying products for my face. I’m thinking of trying the skincare/primer in this video. What else might you recommend? Wishing you well so much, with your new little one! I loved those years when I was having babies!
In your previous and this video--I just love your eyes--truly captivating. Maybe one of the reasons was that on the day of your original post, I was thinking of doing a similar eye look. Also, I noticed that you usually never filled the inner part of your brow, and thought that just a little darkening of the area would create more balance. You look beautiful and fresh, Hannah. P.s. I am so looking forward to receiving your book of poetry--I am a devoted poetry reader. :)

I think it's a combination of your lip colour and glassy, polished skin - very quiet luxury!
I’ve never been so early. Hello Hannah!! ☺️
yess the tower 28 mascara >>>
I am loving a more simple makeup look like this, these days as well. You look beautiful and your videos are very calming to me right now. ❤❤❤
I really like this eye combo but i tend to add a teeeeny eyeliner flick to just help elongate the eye.
It's everything - all the component yes, but mainly I think it's the top lash only mascara - such a different look for YOU specifically - fresh, together, bright! I hope one step at a time is getting your through!
Brow-forward, glossy! Love it. I’m definitely going to try the eye look. Fun!
Your make up always hits girl❤❤❤❤ new subscriber from Angie’s TH-cam channel during your maternity leave period!! Love your content
Love this look! After your video I pulled out the white surratt liner/shadow stick for a glossy shiny lid. Beautiful
Oooooo that’s why your brows looked the most perfect ever!! Excited to see all of your secrets from that look! ✨🌟
I swear by it and feel like I have to share it with everyone!
this thumbnail is very aesthetic
Love everything about the look, especially the hair!
Auric defiance has been on my wish list for soooo long. Now I’m like I may need to incorporate into my budget
You’ve convinced me to give the Hy Gen another try. It’s sitting in its box, ready to be returned. Thank you!
Idk why…mine was very like dry? And too glittery for me. I did return mine :/
absolutely nailed it!!! this honestly gave me a lot of inspo, I will absolutely be replicating this
In your previous and this video--I just love your eyes--truly captivating. :)
thank you!! i have been satisfied. the hair looks great!!!!!
Would share the lights? I am having a horrible time finding balanced lights. You look gorgeous!!!
