I've been through countless lawn people...I have about .7 acres brought me a riding mower this past summer after getting tired of dealing with wishy washy undependable folks...and I fired the folks treating the lawn last week after they skipped a treatment and stopped offering treatment for my dalliasgrass after starting it..and they recommended a second treatment a month prior. So I'll be doing my own lawn...Glad I found this page!
I’m a pro 14 years , but I’m an eager learner , and open to new and different techniques, I usually use tenacity, but that gets expensive , I love granulars❤ I think I’ll use just the 007 alone and water it in , I’m going to attempt to time it with a rain forecast but if not I’ll 4:06 use my irrigation system! Love your videos…. We’re in Bakersfield California zone 9 .and it’s 60 but in the mornings it’s 33. And we have been getting more rain than usual this year. I have common Bermuda . Great video! I’m a new homeowner with Bermuda grass. This is my 1st time doing actual lawn care and maintenance. I felt confident as a female putting down my pre emergent and spraying the weed stop on the lawn. Im in Texas so I wanted to ho ahead and get the products down. When I and to get the pre emergent they were already sold out so I had to go to several stores until I finally found some! Thank you so much for your videos! They really are helpful! 😊

Put down my sunniland 0-0-7 last week here in central Alabama. Thank you for bringing their products to my attention. Was able to get 2 years of applications for less than $30
I did the combination of lesco 007 and the weedstop. For the first time, i had no winter weeds. Im doing it again for my spring preemergent application. Thanks BYD.
I've been in my house for 3 months. I have new sod and my grass looks like a bad haircut. I have spotty areas and I'm in Texas . The winter storm didn't help my new sod. I will be following you. Thanks for the video!

I did get the Lesco 0-0-7, in the black bag, the Weed Stop for 470 weeds, Image Nutsedge killer and the Scott's Edge DXL spreader. I was teaching a GUY in Lowes. Lol.. He asked how I know so much.. I told him that a friend of mine is a professional landscaper. He asked for a number.. I said "I don't have his number but you can find him in his TH-cam page". He was cracking up when I pulled up this video. He took the information down though. I was not able to find the dye though. I am going to see if Ace Hardware has it. Oh by the way... I instructed at least three people in the two different Scott's spreaders. They all wound up getting the one you suggested when I told them it would be more work with the smaller one. 😂🤣😅
Moved to north GA a few years ago. Your videos are a great help. Down to earth real deal. Especially on the products usage that we can get at big box stores. Some lawn guys want you to buy some online expensive stuff. But you keep it on the real.

My yard is about 1 year old (new Bermuda sod) and weeds are starting to pop up. I'm trying to be the best yard on the block so hopefully after this cold snap i can get going with these things!!!
BYD I took your advice and went to Lowe’s for the pre-emergent / weed & feed and the fertilizer for a lower price along with my veterans discount. Thanks for the heads up. Now I have enough to last all season. Good looking out.
Excellent video, I was getting so much Poa in my yard last year . I was cutting my next door neighbor yard that was full of all kind of weeds. I tried my best to clean out my deck but now I have tons of crab grass. But with your help I know I'm takin care of. Thanks for all your help and video's
@@pippenlapue9643 you can put down some pre-emergent (ex: Prodiamine ) and some image for your POA problem. just make sure you put it down when the weather is correct in your time-zone. It take a while for it to kick in about 2-5 weeks but if you have the cash you can but some more expensive products, but image works great.
I am a 62-year-old lady in Texas with tons of weeds where Bermuda used to be. I rototilled and raked it up last late summer but it grew back. I am checking you out but the first product has low reviews on Homedepot so now I'm reluctant to buy
I got the exact same pre emergent from Lowe’s today. (following your directions as closely as possible so I can learn). Also saw that Lesco spreader in a smaller sized home owner version! I wanted it so bad, till I saw that 300 dollar price tag 😭. Idk…I still might go back and get it as it certainly looks easier to push than the Scott’s one I have now.

I watched your video on preemergent, immediately went to Lowes online and they did not have Sunniland, so I brought Lesco. We have snow right now. I hope this will get rid of this straw looking patches of grass. I did weedstop it didn't work. HellllPppp.

I keep watching this. I bought Scotts WeedEx Prevents and I don't think I'm going to use it. I'll go to Lowes and get the Lesco. I have already hit the lawn twice with Spectracide twice and Scotts Triple Action about two weeks ago and I'm still getting baby crabgrass popping up.
Tenacity I hear isn't for Bermuda. I had great results using spectracide pre-emergents. I applied it to the whole yard with the blue dye. The whole yard was blue when the grass was still kinda on the brown side. Hey so you have a routine write up to where I can schedule what do throughout the years?
Great advice and channel. What do you think about Scott's crabgrass pre emergent that's also for new seed on fescue. It says it is safe for new seed but would hate to waste the seeds. I want to overseed know instead of fall.
It works but just remember this (?only six weeks ) and crabgrass dandelions preventer. So if you have some others weeds to germinate it may not be those two. Doesn’t say it stops all weeds 👍🏾
What's the best way to rinse out my sprayers? I live in a community with HOA and houses everywhere so I don't really have woods where I can just dump the residue. Thanks for the videos. Hopefully BYD Jr. will get interested in yard care one day :)
Get you some solitaire 96 oz, $80 on Amazon, last about 4 or 5 seasons. That's all you will ever need, it kills everything, even crabgrass. For my yard, Bermuda grass @ 7k square feet.

Omg $60 for a Scott’s Spreader never. Those things are on Fb market place for $20. I’ve even found commercial Lesco and Chapin spreaders at amazing low prices. Pneumatic tires are a must. I bought a $700 Spyker Spreader for 50% at GIE. You and Ron Henry need to take a trip there once everything gets back to normal.

I am sooo happy I found your channel. I just subscribed. Im in California my bermuda is dormant now. The weeds are very visible so now Im pulling them. 1. Is there anything I can apply that will kill weeds and not hurt my sleeping grass. 2. Should I continue to water my grass if its dormant. 3. Should I move my lawn. Wait and see your results after a few weeks, but you can still spot spray weeds.

As long the product says Weed kill for lawns and your grass type is in the direction you’ll be ok 👌🏽

Im in California my bermuda is dormant now. The weeds are very visible so now Im pulling them.
1. Is there anything I can apply that will kill weeds and not hurt my sleeping grass.
2. Should I continue to water my grass if its dormant.
3. Should I move my lawn. I have a just sharpened push mower with out a grass catcher.
I am soooo new to this.
HELP.
