  • Alright now, with the reception of Old Faithful, it gave me the drive to do another video. With the release of Sodor Workshop's Fergus, I wanted to do a video that involved him. (Like every other Trainz video maker here on TH-cam.) The day after, I looked on Twitter and was brought to the attention of this story through Buried Truck's own tweet about it. (Which included the narration he made for it.)
Before I started production, Riley introduced an update to the TTTE locoscript in which added the option to invite other people to control locomotives in your session. (The only catch is you had to show them what they were in control of in-game via Discord screen-share.)
What came to my mind when me and a few other people experimented was:
"What if I got together some people and we all worked on this together, operating as a whole film crew?"
And that's exactly what we did, and this video might be the first time this method has been put into practice. Now, this method has a few kinks that became aware to us through filming. (Including in some shots the eye mechs on some locos jolting to one direction. This is due to packet loss, which we did try to adjust during filming. This did result in us having to do a few takes for certain shots involving eye-mech work, but we got it in the end.)
The TTTE locoscript update is a great advancement in the world of Trainz filmmaking, and I think you'll see why in some shots in this video. Me and the lads tried to push the medium with the semi-multiplayer option that Riley added into the locoscript as best as we could in this, and I think you'll enjoy the result of it all here.
