Yeah skiing is really fun! When you first start it isn't that fun because it is a bit hard to learn. But once you learn, it is a lot of fun. Also sledding is fun to. Our yard is hilly, so we sled when it snows.
Funniest thing I've ever seen happened on Oma's when the skiing Santa did a yard sale about 30 feet in front of me. God, what I would have given for a GoPro!!
This was actually in early 2023. But we have been once to Beech Mountain and the snow was pretty good. It has also snowed a little bit since we last went. So it's not as good as it was in the video but pretty close.

If there is a "red wave" in NC in the upcoming year, I'm looking into NC as a homebase.
