Not so fun fact: when Johnny gets knocked out by Butterbean, that snoring sound is apparently him trying to swallow his own tongue after a concussion. Saw an interview with him somewhat recently where he talked about how dangerous some of those head injuries are. on another note, I absolutely LOVED the show Viva la Bam. if you like the clips of them messing with his parents, you'll love that whole show. Makes me so sad to see what's happening to Bam nowadays, but that show was fantastic.

I remember them starting off on the UK TV show "Balls of Steel" with their "PAIN MEN" segment. These boys weren't for the faint hearted, but they are worth a watch if you like JACKASS type humor and then theirs the DUDESONS who are also pretty crazy and feature in JACKASS 😁
Dude, you have got to keep this up with the 2nd and 3rd movies. The stunts get bigger, and in some cases even WILDER than before. The 4th movie wasn't great but it was just fun to see everyone back again for one final film. Either way, they're worth watching just to see what insane shit happens. Interesting thing to keep in mind though: despite all the insane stunts in these movies, nobody has ever died during a Jackass stunt. One of the crew did die but it was in a drunk-driving incident, the rest of them are all still alive to this day (with many, many, MANY hospital bills)

Bam was lucky to have parents with enough money to buy a video camera. This movie is pretty on par with the shit we used to do. Thing is, there weren't cameras everywhere to record it.
late 80's, 5 years old, older brother 6, free transport, 1.5 hour bus and train ride to a beach across the city, fishing rods, bait out of the freezer, fishing of pier, jumping off pier, arrive home around 9pm, Mom angry as a cut snake, grounded for 2 weeks, 2 weeks later, free transport, bus ride to city center, trying to catch little fish in a fountain outside a mall, cut foot on broken glass in fountain, walk through mall leaking blood, lady in pet store comes over and patches me up with a first aid kit and asks for my mother's phone number, older brother not thinking tells her, mom show's up thinking we're just down the road at a friend's house, grounded for a month, a month later.... for some reason we moved out into the country with no public transport 🤣
The scene where johnny is shot with riot control round isn’t the first time Johnny’s been shot. His first ever stunt was testing self defense weapons on himself and the end of it was him putting on a vest and shooting himself with a revolver. It’s very intense.

You aim for the ground in front of them and the bag burst on impact, sending smaller beads flying. Which obviously also hurt but much more effective for multiple rioters than a single one. When I was 8 years old, my mom and I were at the supermarket and they had a big barrel of DVDs. On top was Jackass The Movie. My mom saw it and said, "Hey, doesn't this look fun? Do you want to get it?" And we sat down to watch it later WITH MY GRANDMOTHER. I didn't get to actually see much because my mom kept screaming "CLOSE YOUR EYES" or "PLUG YOUR EARS" or just straight-up banishing me upstairs, all of which I thought was hilarious of course. I'd definitelt love ot see you watch the other films! Each film also has a .5 that's shows more behind the antics scenes and all the deleted scenes that didn't make the cut, so there's a 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 which are all worthy of watching too.

Ah paper cuts! I remember back in high school getting x3 paper cuts across my eye ball. I had made some smart comment to a girl walking behind me, so she whacked the back of my head with her essay, just as I was turning around to face her and so I got thin paper cuts to the eyeball. I got to wear an eye patch for a few days, so that was fun. But I wouldn't recommend getting them to the eye
for years afterward or at least until the next movies the jackass crew just referred to the golf cart crash as the "incident" because at the time it was the closest johnny had ever come to dying. then when the next movies started coming out it seemed like nothing in comparison.

Watching the tv show and the movies was my teen years. It was awesome stuff because it was just them doing it, and the assumption that the crew would smooth things over after filming. Unlike with copycats these days for tiktoks just being twats. But yeah, there's quite a few jackass movies. You have 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, forever, 4.5. I'm still yet to see forever and 4.5. There's also the viva la bam series and wild boys series that are worth watching. And, if you really want to amp things up, there's the dirty sanchez series and movie.

Ah paper cuts! I remember back in high school getting x3 paper cuts across my eye ball. I had made some smart comment to a girl walking behind me, so she whacked the back of my head with her essay, just as I was turning around to face her and so I got thin paper cuts to the eyeball. I got to wear an eye patch for a few days, so that was fun. But I wouldn't recommend getting them to the eye
The sequels get so much better too.

for years afterward or at least until the next movies the jackass crew just referred to the golf cart crash as the "incident" because at the time it was the closest johnny had ever come to dying. then when the next movies started coming out it seemed like nothing in comparison.

Watching the tv show and the movies was my teen years. It was awesome stuff because it was just them doing it, and the assumption that the crew would smooth things over after filming. Unlike with copycats these days for tiktoks just being twats.
But yeah, there's quite a few jackass movies. You have 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, forever, 4.5. I'm still yet to see forever and 4.5. There's also the viva la bam series and wild boys series that are worth watching.
And, if you really want to amp things up, there's the dirty sanchez series and movie.
