I know a guy that just used c4 blocks. No idea where the fuq he kept getting all that d@mn c4 though. I was logistics, I was the one filling supply orders and sending out the supplies. And I did not send out THAT much of it.
A) This guy did a really good job. B) But damn, the door did an even better job, imagine how often this thing must have gotten that treatment and still looks plenty intact. Respect to whoever built that!

This is definitely one of those “make training so ridiculously hard that the real deal will always seem easy” drills. Some not so good lessons here, though. You’re not going to get so much prying force against a wooden jamb, there’s nothing simulating the bolt mechanism so the door moves differently when you pry, and if you’re actually up against a heavy metal security door, save your back and everyone’s time and go get the metal saw or the small jaws.
@@pickleman40 You’re not going to damage or destroy an exterior fire door for an automatic alarm. If you do have a real deal, it is literally less effort to go back to the rig and get a power tool, or have the foresight to bring it with you from the get go.
I was curious about this. I have a recent heart condition and I've been going to bed with the door unlocked in case I have an emergency and can't get up to unlock the door. I really worry about them not being able to get in in time.
You could could cap it a lot closer to the lock, hold with a wedge just blow, gap right above that, and get your adz around and pop it alot quicker. Any door will pop doing this of course, but beating the shit out of a wedge is unneeded.

If you feel like the spike wouldn’t be of much use to you, look into a Kelly tool, they’re just a halligan without the spike. Also a very cool and versatile tool.
