I would argue that Katasuyu is the strongest of the 3 way deadlock. The Katsuyu that is relatively on Manda 1 and Gamabunta's level is only 10%. The acid she has is possibly her only offense, but its potent enough for Orochimaru to be afraid of. I personally think the size difference and the acid would make a difference. I would say she's offensively possibly the most threatening and definitely the most versatile and useful I have now received clarification that he meant 10%.
I think that, by the end of the show, the main characters don't really need firepower from a summoning, so having Katsuyu that has large scale medical support is more valuable than a big frog with a sword.

Maybe another cool idea would be the other summons of the anime like Kisames 1000 Hungry Sharks,Sasoris 100 puppets or Dedaras Giant Clay Dragon basically the summons that were created by shinobi
The issue with ranking these is, by what metric? Destructive power or combat ability, or utility? Because they all have different scales. Buddha statue solos anyway though.

There's actually some implication that the Pain's dog summon's ability to multiply is a separate Rinnegan/Nagato ability he gives it and not something unique to the dog I think it's called Endless Summoning Jutsu in the Third Databook, and the wording makes it sound like Pain can give it to ANY summon he wants since it never makes it seem exclusive to the dog summon and its hard to say how far it can extend since he only ever does with the dog. Pain is also the only listed user, not the dog or any other Rinnegan user. "A summoning jutsu to which special conditions have been added. The summoned entity is given a certain condition, such as multiply when attacked. When that condition is met, a jutsu that causes the entity to multiply is invoked."
Oh wow this is actually really fascinating, it might be a case of the other summons have better specialties and because the dog itself is so lackluster it’s the perfect summon to multiply. Really interesting regardless

I was waiting for Hiruzen to pull out monkey sage mode as an Edo and the excuse was just that he didn't have time to do it against orochimaru. It would have been so sick and it makes perfect sense for his character but Kishi didn't want anyone to shine besides the indra and asura reincarnation characters apparently.

I respect the effort, but you kind of lost me immediately when you said the giant genjutsu clam summon was F-tier. It's pointless to rank them based on which summon would win a fight against each other or their offensive output only rather than how useful they are in battle for a shinobi summoning them. And in the latter case, Gengetsu's Giant Clam is A-tier _at least_ -- it literally made huge swathes of an army unable to effectively combat their opponent even when he was trying to tell them how to do it. Even a ninja with average power would be incredibly dangerous with the Giant Clam if they were even a little big clever and put in enough work to learn a B-rank jutsu... which most shinobi would be able to do. Otherwise good video. It's well presented and engaging enough to hold interest. Cheers!

Even if you don’t want to assume too much about her fully size strength you still must acknowledge that she is at least 10 gamabunta/manda level bodies
O mam, you did the Mizukage summoning dirty ^^. No kidding the area of effect of that genjutsu is quite impressive, I put it easily in B tier at least. Great video otherwise 👍.
I think Katsuyuyu is also dependent on who’s summoning her and there power at that point. I think an in prime Tsunade or war arc Sakura summoning her would out her more relative to Aoda and Gamakichi who I believe are both ahead of Manda & Manda 2.0 and Bunta. Gamakichi is a sage mode user like Ma & Pa. I would also put Ma right below Pa just giving her credit for also being a sage mode user. Other than that I would agree and technically the juubi has been summoned so if including that it would obviously go number 1 unless you include Hagoromo being able to summon six paths Naruto and Sasuke (which I guess could be part of the Rinnegan animal path summoning technique)

The tailed beasts aren't "summons" just because it can be reverse summoned does not make it a summon animal. You can reverse summon other ninjas too, and weapons, but they are not "summons"
You’re underestimating Katsuyu, she can attack, protect, heal and communicate information, also her og size is like a mountain and you she doesn’t get damaged by physical attacks
Video idea: best team of 5 from typical leaf ninja to TRACK and CAPTURE hebi sasuke. These 5 will get basic info on sasuke’s abilities. Might Guy is unavailable cause he’s in the hospital or something. Just consider people like konaha 12, anbu/root, team captains, particular clan member we know for their abilities.
Some interesting strategies could happen. Like shikamaru attaching a shadow to lee for him to tag sasuke. Or sai flying with a long range fighter to fight from the air like diedera. Asuma wind style blades for chidori with Yamato wood style and water style for blocking sauske’s fire
@@hobbyhorse5848 neji would be a good choice for breaking teammates out of genjutsu, help tracking, and can help defend against long range attacks, if sasuke is immobilized neji can hit his chakra points. Kakashi for ninja hound tracking, sharingan to fight genjutsu, can fight him head on with back up. Yamato to keep pressure on sasuke, defend teammates Shikamaru for shadow possession, dissecting sasuke’s moves Naruto cause he’ll be able to annoy sasuke with shadow clones and talk no jutsu. The rest of the team can deal with Naruto if he goes 4 tails.

I’m assuming that I can’t pick Kakashi but if I can I’d replace Choza with him. Mind transfer into shadow possession, then the parasitic beetles eat his chakra. Or I’d replace the Aburame with Yamato since wood style suppresses chakra.
I think Katsuyu is probably closer to S-Tier. The biggest form of Katsuyu that’s summoned isn’t even her full size. Along with that, later in the show, you don’t need an offensive summoning. Support summonings are more useful later in the show as the main characters have stronger offensive abilities than most summonings.
I think the centipede and Sasuke's hawk should trade spots. It deserves C tier since it did take one of Danzo's lives by hitting him with that shuriken. Also Ma should be right behind Pa above the 3 way deadlock for her powerful genjutsu.
Kakashis dogs should be included and also isn’t the first hokages and orochimarus weaker rashomon a summoning? And also the toad jiraya summons that has the stomach with a huge dimension in it
Where would you put the Rashomon gates ? It's kind of weird that they are not really creatures. They made a contract with gates, how do you make a gate sign a contract 🤔... But they anyway they look cool, and are quite helpful to tank stuff at the same time. So let's roll with it.
The chameleon Id say go lower than the bull and Rhino as it has no real offensive capabilities compared to the two and it got 1 tapped while in the pain fight with naruto ma never 1 taps any of the bigger summons just halts them. It's just not an offense/battle based summon instead it's more of a support for Nagato
1000 Hands is a Wood Style technique not technically a summong, and the Rashomon walls are really strong defensively yet are just walls so they'd be F tier in terms of offensive capability, defensively they'd be Godly

I think Katsuyuyu is also dependent on who’s summoning her and there power at that point. I think an in prime Tsunade or war arc Sakura summoning her would out her more relative to Aoda and Gamakichi who I believe are both ahead of Manda & Manda 2.0 and Bunta. Gamakichi is a sage mode user like Ma & Pa. I would also put Ma right below Pa just giving her credit for also being a sage mode user.
Other than that I would agree and technically the juubi has been summoned so if including that it would obviously go number 1 unless you include Hagoromo being able to summon six paths Naruto and Sasuke (which I guess could be part of the Rinnegan animal path summoning technique)

Might Guy is unavailable cause he’s in the hospital or something. Just consider people like konaha 12, anbu/root, team captains, particular clan member we know for their abilities.
Some interesting strategies could happen. Like shikamaru attaching a shadow to lee for him to tag sasuke. Or sai flying with a long range fighter to fight from the air like diedera. Asuma wind style blades for chidori with Yamato wood style and water style for blocking sauske’s fire

I think Katsuyu is probably closer to S-Tier. The biggest form of Katsuyu that’s summoned isn’t even her full size. Along with that, later in the show, you don’t need an offensive summoning. Support summonings are more useful later in the show as the main characters have stronger offensive abilities than most summonings.

1000 Hands is a Wood Style technique not technically a summong, and the Rashomon walls are really strong defensively yet are just walls so they'd be F tier in terms of offensive capability, defensively they'd be Godly

Not only do I not agree with the fact, that you merely rank them on an offensive basis, but I also do not agree with the ranking itself.
I ranked them based on offensive ability as there is any number of criteria defensive, utility, etc. that could skew the list in any direction, so I had to pick one just curious what did you disagree with?

Fair enough response, tbh there's more of an implication Enma ~ or able to keep pace with Hiruzen compared to Ibuse who seems to be more support to Hanzo, even by strict lore standards or by what's actually shown. Pa and Ma are summons technically but, just are never summoned and take quite a bit of time to summon.
