    Beautifully laid out, with descriptive and clear graphics, coupled to a very even keeled “voice over” narration with a calm fantastic elocution, with to the point terse explanations that are clearly understood. Top notch!!! Good baseline to go back to Michael to finally understand his teachings lol!

      This is mainly his personalization of a dealing range, but the main definition of a dealing range is the range created after both buyside and sellside liquidity have been taken.

    The thing I'm not understanding is how you mark the 20, 40, or 60-day range. From which date should you start marking? You can't just start from any random day, right?

    @12:49 would you be able to explain how you knew that price would drop and continue to Down side? Thank you

    • @atyourbest5385
      @atyourbest5385 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the overall trend is bearish. Knowing the trend is bearish you wait for liquidity to be taken sellside and buyside. After buyside liquidity has been taken you would expect the price to continue bearish. Price goes from internal (internal liquidity) to external (highs and lows, double tops) in which ever trend price is. You wait for price to get back to optimal dealing range / premium or discount PD Array to get maximum R:R (risk to reward)

    Hey Paul, question for you. Why is the S&P500 considered bullish (as I believe you didn't touch on that when you flipped over to the S&P). Price action broke that previous high (*where you have marked out "Bullish Liq."), so would this not be considered a BOS (Break of Structure to the upside) as it didn't respect the liq./OB's when price was moving up and created a new high?

      Welcome! Yes you can. The way that I use them as both an entry mechanism, to identify the draw on liquidity and to map exits/partials.

    Paul, I really do like your teaching. It is succinct too. 1 Question. If an extreme high or extreme lo is just utside the 60 day look back window like at 64 or 68 days for example, will you use it in measuring the current trading range or rather ignore it and why? Thanks.

    Great video! I have a question at 14:50. You speak of 2 FVGs. But isn't the upper one already rebalanced? I would consider it a reaction from a bearish order block even if i am quite new to ICT concepts and not really sure how to safely identify an order block. Or is a FVG persistent even if it has been rebalanced? Love ICT conecpts and your examples are extremely helpful in my learning journey!

    How do you use PD arrays to determine daily bias?

  • @peterb9388
    @peterb9388 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Paul, thank you for this great video!
    I have a question on your last example (14:55). How do you know that the 2nd bearish FVG will be respected? The first bullish FVG gets respected and is in a discount, this could also be the springboard to take out buyside of the previous high?

    • @pauljleroy
      @pauljleroy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very welcome Peter. That's a great question and you are exactly right. In this case, even though we are bearish, we have a bullish PD array in a discount part of the range so we can expect that price will react to it. It doesn't mean that our bias is wrong, just that price may look to seek buyside at this point, so we should expect that. In this instance you wont know until after the fact so we would just need to trade accordingly or not trade until confirmed. Hope that helps!

    Hi, is pd arrays in the new 2023 mentorship or from the 2022? I made sure i subscribed because youre the only one to go over 2022 mentorship in detail. I look forward to watching them all. Thank you.

    • @pauljleroy

      It isn't really specifically covered in either. Look to the older core content videos for the original teachings, but you will notice the ICT mentioned PD arrays alot!

    I have definitely subscribed and liked! However I do have a question. It seems you are looking for liquidity levels in a very roundabout way. Why not just look at the order book? Or use a tool like bookmap?

  • @knguyen2719
    @knguyen2719 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 12:37 how do you know price not retraces and will go higher from that level, there is no CHOCH, no bearish BOS, is it too uncertain to assume that level is our swing high, and we have got the dealing range determined?

  • @securitycontrolcenter8239
    @securitycontrolcenter8239 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Wouldn't the dealing range have been established the last time both sides of liquidity were taken? Does a 20,40,60 day lookback reveal this or shouldn't it be detectable on a timeframe chart of a much smaller value like an hourly or four hour?

  • @thabomjiyako8894
    @thabomjiyako8894 ปีที่แล้ว

    Are these stacked in order of importance? eg, is the old high more important than bearish breaker?

    • @pauljleroy
      @pauljleroy  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a hierarchy to the PD Arrays from an equilibrium out to either the premium or discount of the range.
