Always love your videos and your honest takes on the cards! ✌️ I just did an opening video on my TH-cam of some of the blaster boxes for this set that are showing up at target and Walmart. Which if you are going for the base set, I bought 10 blasters for $20 a piece and was able to complete the base set no problem. I didn’t realize it at first but there is basically 2 artworks for each card. The base artwork is modern artwork and if you look in the bottom left corner you will see a headshot from their early first appearance. If you get a FXX card these artworks are switched. Kinda neat concept, wish there were more of the FXX chases to pull in a box.
When blaster boxes become available online I'll probably by some, but I'm not sure if I'll try to complete the base set. Maybe they'll win me over like the Fleer Ultra blasters did, but so far I'm a bit disapointed by the set.
You can get these for about 85 bucks now. Pretty dramatic drop in price! Which makes sense cuz they feel like a step down from volume 1 tbh
I bought probably 8 booster boxes, and I'm still missing about 17 cards. Waaaaay to many duplicates in the boxes. I wish it was like the good old days lol.
Throw them in a fireplace, except for those two cards. 😆

The amount of base set parallels in all these Marvel products is ridiculous. As a collector, I don’t want to open a box and have 20 different unfinished parallel sets. Upper Deck is being lazy.
You're on point, it's ridiculous with this set escpecially with the different colored hardnumbered sets that you're only getting 1 per box of. I think this base set has more then ten parallel sets.
This is one of my least favorite sets … just a boring and crappy one… reminds me of your funny marvel ages boxes
I also had flashbacks to Marvel Ages. It's not as bad as that set, but still very underwhelming.
