That stock air cleaner was once a screamin Eagle upgrade. A highly recommended upgrade right along with the new one he installed. This is purely a cosmetic change nothing more. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Make it how you want it.
@@ericvalencia3642 NO tune is nessessary for this intake (not sure why he said that) - These bike run richer then the twin cams that "could" need a tune.
Me too! Idk it’s hard to tell by riding, seems more responsive but would definitely have to compare them on a dyno. I think changing them is more for looks than anything else lol
@@MotoHeadKyle lol mannn isn’t everything for “looks” at the end of the day? Lol but yeah looks good brotha I am one of the taller guys you mentioned and I do have to say I test rode a CVO with that breather on the side and it was all up in my leg space #tallpplprobs
i like the look too. not sure how much air you get. i know i rode through heavy rain here in florida a week ago and i had the net over the air cleaner and it did sputter a few times. wonder how much rain would affect this one.
Assuming you’re talking about the motorcycle lift? I stole the idea from my friends over at North Co Baggers here’s the video on it th-cam.com/video/cLBB5TrQx80/w-d-xo.html
@@ericroadking7564 So I haven’t done a video YET.. plan on doing one in the spring to go over the PV4. Haven’t put enough miles on it yet to see how it handles over time, but yes I do have RDRS and so far no issues.
Those stock air cleaners on the 114's seem to be a high flow stage 1 anyways....I would just buy a K@N after the paper one is dirty and needs to be replaced...
@@MotoHeadKyle I know...They are Kool looking....But as far as performance they dont do any better job than the traditional SE stage1 intake or aftermarket brand...And like you said for 6 footer or taller riders it rubs on the inside of the right knee...

Do you really have to re-tune the bike after? I thought the factory air cleaner was already a stage one?
@@ericvalencia3642 the high flow ventilator that is stock, flows the same as the elbow heavy breather installed here.. tune would be the same.

Thanks for watching! Do you guys like the look of my new intake?
YES
yes thanks for the vid . it helped me with my install.
@@curtiswalchock3446 that’s great to hear! Thanks for watching Curtis🤘🏻
Looks good, especially if you got a killer deal. I've become a fan of the ventilator for the leg room.
Thanks Jason! Yes, leg room is a definite must. Thanks for watching🤘🏻
Awesome Job and done so you can ride to work in the morning. 👍
Thank you! Yes, had to make sure it was ready to go for work 😂
Love that look! As always great work. Thanks for the Video.
Thank you! Thanks for consistently supporting the channel!
Looks great. Thanks for another informational video
Thanks for watching & consistently supporting the channel!
That part looked new good buy thanks for another great video keep them coming
Thank you! Thanks for watching
I dig that new intake bro
Thanks DV!
Looks Great! Love the new look.
Thank you!
I’ve always been a fan of the heavy breather look but can you really tell a huge difference or is it pretty minor?

@@bigbaggerben7504 yeah I guess it’s not so kind to you taller kind 😂
Just did this Saturday- but I asked the dealership to order the black filter (road glide st service part)
Looks much better than stock imo
That’s a great idea! never thought about ordering the black filter. That’s going to look good!
did you put adhesive on your gasket to hold in place?
Looks great Kyle!
Thank you sir!
The ventilator intake you're taken off is better than the one you're putting on
2 questions, are you having the bike tuned and are you selling the old one?
The bike was flashed for now, plan on doing some other work in the future that will require a dyno tune!
i like the look too. not sure how much air you get. i know i rode through heavy rain here in florida a week ago and i had the net over the air cleaner and it did sputter a few times. wonder how much rain would affect this one.
Honestly probably the same with a rain sock. The rain sock can only hold its own for so long lol
@@MotoHeadKyle yep true. funny how no other bike besides harley has problems with this.
@@robertlumsden942 most other bikes don’t have a open air cleaner.. you can always change it
Hat seat is that?
What did you mount to your left to make it wider.

Would be happy to buy your original air cleaner.
Not the biggest fan of those but if you like it 😃👍
That’s what makes every bike unique! 🤘🏻
Hey bud have you notice a difference between the stock and the SE you installed ? 🤘🏽
Eh, probably not. Would have to dyno both to see if there’s any difference lol
Awesome!! Do you have a tuner?
I didn’t until I added this! I’m running the Dyno-Jet PV4
@@MotoHeadKyle wondering if you did a dynojet video and how it's working? Also do you have RDRS? did the dynojet cause any issues with the RDRS?

@@bradlozano2571 I’m aware… this is what I wanted and I got it. I never said go out and buy one lol
Doubt there is any change in performance here. Just purely cosmetics. The inlet size on both of the intakes look the exact same.
The only difference could be ambient intake temperature, due to the filter being spaced slightly farther from the motor
I’ll take the original off your hands
