Thanks so much for a revelation! I have been using candlelit to neutralize dark circles around eyes. After watching this video, I used my Aspen contour on just one eye, and can clearly see the cakiness of too-light candlelit! (Versailles is my perfect brightening shade).
Hi Contoured Chemist! I am loving your videos and learning lots. I turned in a digital form to be color matched for a Seint palette last Saturday, 5/28 using your link. I haven’t received a match back yet, though I did receive a confirmation that the form had been received. As great as your videos are, you may have a hundred forms a day! Is there anything else I need to do? ❤️Randi
I just checked and it was emailed to you 4 days ago. Be sure to check your spam and if you still don't see it, email me at sarah@thecontouredchemist.com and I can forward it back to you to make sure your email address was entered correctly!
I'm waiting on Demi 01 and 03 right now to try under my eyes. I love Seint ❤️ I'm 52 with lots of those wrinkles, blue, purple and all kinds of issues 😁
I couldn’t bring myself to believe in Mango magic - no matter how many videos I watched! I thought I was the exception. My Mango is on its way because YOU ARE RIGHT!
Would u recommend June or amber to color correct mild to medium redness if my main highlight shade is white peach to candlelit…depending on time of year?
My artist told me not to use Frenchie under my eyes because at first it looks good but about an hour later, the salmon color shows thru again. I stick with mango under my eyes.
I’ve never had that happen to me, but yes you need much more of your main shade and it can also depend on what your main shade is. The lighter the main, the more likely that could happen depending on application 👍🏻
Sarah, I have hyperpigmentation on both my cheeks and nose: I’m very pale. Sunburn easily.. I can just look at the sun and burn 🔥.. I have an oval-large face. I’ve lost 25 pounds within the past year so I’m looking better. How do I order from Scient?
@@lorianntrevino6893 that's so amazing!!! I'd be happy to help match you and explain your options! Here is my color match request: form.jotform.com/90865284046160
I have raised spots of darkness on my face, below the contour area on both cheeks. Should I apply Mango to color correct them? I'd like to camouflage them as well as I can.
I have a question: full transparency I was color matched to level 2 by another artist and purchased June, Aura, and Linen. June being main highlight and it matches great but I was on my own with color correcting my dark under eyes and hyperpigmentation. I Googled some charts and chose Frenchie. Is there a color that would work better for me? Would it be wrong to fill out your color match questionnaire? Not trying to step on anyone's toes.
@@TheContouredChemist I've tried Walmart and it's not in the same "grey" tone. What contour would be next darker in the "grey tone" as Aspen. As my tan gets darker with the summer here, I'm needing a shade darker than Aspen, but in the same grey tone. Is Shadow contour in the grey tones? Would Papaya work to correct white acne scars? Please advise. Thank you!!! ❤️
@@TheContouredChemist I'm not wanting just anything darker than Aspen, I need the contour that's grey tone as Aspen. Can you please share with me which is in the grey tone as Aspen? It's expensive returning tins just trying to get the correct tone/color. You seem to have amazing knowledge of tones, that is why I asked of you.
My sister is about 8 years older than me. She was always the prettier sister bcuz I was always so big. Well we live in Texas and my entire family were sun goddesses for years 🙃 Fat always looks better tanned😘 Anywho she has vitiligo ( it says to pronounce it vit-u-lai-go). When the light spots started on my beautiful sisters hands people didn't even want to take money from her. We can only boil it down to blood transfusions she had in the 90's. As the years progressed she's turned light and all her brown places that were tanned are almost white. She's not even supposed to be in the sunlight. So all of her skin is light in pigment. She's missing out on wearing makeup. It breaks my heart ❤️ Adore you magic hands!
Papaya and mango was exactly what I needed to help with my Rudolph the Red-Nosed.,.....,nose issue 🤣 Thanks Sarah. You nailed it with the recommendation you gave me❤️ Thanks luv 😘
Are you a fellow color correction convert?!

Aspen is awesome for white acne scars.

What is your recommendation for white acne scaring? No one ever talks about white scaring....no color spots.
I have raised spots of darkness on my face, below the contour area on both cheeks. Should I apply Mango to color correct them? I'd like to camouflage them as well as I can.
Just depends on how dark they are! If Mango is darker than them, then it should be a good option for color correction. Demi is also a good option.
Frenchie also works wonders for white scaring....no color scars.

No not at all, I rematch people daily to help them out! I'd be happy to...
@@TheContouredChemist Thanks so much!
I do still see some texture (pores) when applying Candlelit. I've tried applying less... should I bump up to Amber?
You likely need a color corrector!
I have hyperpigmentation around my mouth and idk how to cover that up.
What shade is darker than Aspen? Would Henna contour be in same tone as Aspen? Aspen Contour stays/covers better for no color scaring.
Aspen is one of the lightest contours. Everything except Walnut is darker than it!
