I love how it’s got a massive light and then teeny tiny windows to look out of.

Yeah I'm puzzled by the giant light. That doesn't seem to have been a thing on the original ones.

Is it or was it ever a monorail since it clearly uses three rails?

That's what it was called at the time! I suppose it's really riding on the top rail, with the other two functioning as guide rails.

Very unusual but is is really a mono-rail? What might be the function of the two small rails at the bottom?

Yeah it stretches the definition but that's what it's called.

I'm gonna assume the locomotive with two boilers doesn't run on steam anymore but has a combustion engine built into it now?

A steam engine IS a 'combustion engine'.

Disappointed that it isn't a steam powered one

The Listowel and Ballybunion railway wasn't unique. It was the most famous Lartigue railway, but certainly not the only one.

      It's unique today.

@@MKTTransportVideos It isn't " a recreation of a unique monorail system". It's a recreation of a "little-known monorail system", and it may be the only Lartigue monorail operating today.
It was probably the first passenger-carrying monorail in the UK. Billy Butlin was aware of this, and carefully used the words 'Great Britain' when describing his own 'first'.
