This is so true. I took care of my 6yr old daughter alone for like 2 months as my wife was away for some work. And I was applauded as a hero wherever I went.
The views of men looking after children is so low but it doesn't need to be. People ask men if they are babysitting, no they're looking after their own kids, it's called PARENTING.
I’d say it’s pretty high u go out work provide for every one show ur boys how to be men. A very wholesome with Peter doing what not many fathers do that earns him the admiration of all mothers. Somehow the spirit of International Women's Month has gotten to him.

I am a father who does this. Whenever my child soils himself and my wife is not there: I am the one that will change his diaper. I did not know where to throw the soiled diaper though, since it would sink - so I have been eating them instead.
It just seems so weird how as a society we’ve just been not expected dads to ever actually care for a child, like doing something as basic as watching a child or caring for them can be seen as going beyond and above
So true. A young millionaire moved in a few doors down from me when I was in high school and he used to call my younger sisters to come change his baby's diapers for $10 a change
My wife got a terrible infection after our first kid was born and was totally bedridden for about two months. I had to do everything which was pretty hard but the praise I got was totally disproportionate to the situation. It really is a double standard. I helped make the kid. I'm hardly a hero for taking care of him. 😂
This is so true. When Otto was first looking after me after school with some homework, he had to bring along Darian because Tina had to work some long hours at work.
I work evenings so I raise my kids in the day. So many ladies are always like you're a great dad or something. Like uhh, I'm doing what you're supposed to do right....? Stop hooking up with crappy men but the nice guys always finish last.
Part of the reason is just because media rarely depicts it as a normal thing. It's usually dads treating it like disarming a nuclear bomb that will pee on you. The fact that Peter, a "dumbass dad" just flexed in public for something he's been shown to do well before, is kind of the joke.
whats more shocking is there a commenter who was hailed as hero because he get this "took care of his 7 month old while his wife was out of town" so other words he was a parent shocking
Well Peter i'm happy you do the dad thing right from time to time but really? Chik fillet? Technically stewie shouldn't be eating solid foods yet. Be better.
I have done the majority of child rearing and have changed hundreds of diapers for years and not once has someone complimented me and it. Maybe I’m just ugly or have a mean resting face or something. 🤷♂️
Believe it or not, when I have done it, many have complimented me on it and have been astounded. I think it's surprised some of the women I work with that I have been able to do it and do it well. 😂
