Hearing the instrumental of the third Main theme for the first time, l'm reminded that I always found the instrumental versions of NieR's soundtrack to be "off" in particular. With the vocal performance being a made up language, it helps the vocals blend in as if they were an instrument itself. Without it, it just feels incomplete.
