I will be happy if Tesla shares hit the all-time high of $416.
The only thing moving the stock up in a meaningfull way will be profits and margin. Not predictions.
The reason the stock went sideways / down is because it was tracking broader market movement. This is despite the good news from Shanghi, which made no impact. A good example of a stock that was doing the opposite of the wider market is Nvidia and the reason Tesla was not off to the Moon like NVDA is because it doesn't have the results to justify moving against the market. In many ways this is excellent news for those who want to increase their Tesla position, the best thing that could happen for us right now is a correction of even recession.
I'll give you credit for being 100% CRAZY.....that's a given.....

Robots will quickly become a manufactured commodity. The prices will be highly competitive. Is there really going to be super profits? Probably not.

I didn't believe that Tesla would hold its gains at all. Tesla is nothing more than a day trade and swing stock. It is no longer a long-term hold. I have had it with this one step forward and two steps backwards routine. I sold 100 shares of my 910 Tesla shares on Friday and bought 125 shares of NVDA. I will continue to slowly sell off my Tesla shares every time the stock has a decent day. NVDA will reach 200 before Tesla. You can take that to the bank!
Never EVER said 30T in 5 years dingus. He agreed with Cathy on the 5 year projection and said overall the company could reach 30T evaluation with fully ramped optimus and FSD. If I were to guess a timeliness on that figure I'd toss a 15 - 20 year out there.

I think the first time videos come out of the cars being summoned and banish. The stocks are going to go up that day or soon after. That’s gonna freak people out and make them understand what’s coming.
Point to a Friday when Tesla wasn't down. Even when it's up it all returns the next trading day.
So like most stocks, they trade sideways almost all the time. It’s worth noting Teslas overall gain in value is believe it or not, realized over 16 actual trading days. Think about that.
Of course, Elon has to sandbag.

Yes if Tesla has to move this to Texas, there will be a required vote on the new plan. The plan will have to be new but can account for the past years accomplishments.
I think you forgot to wear your hearing aides during the shareholder meetup. He never gave time frame for those predictions. He just said what he estimates it to be worth if successful
These price targets are ridiculous. Let look for a 4 x by 2026. You need earning per share growth. At this point it’s a pipe dream.
The revenue from robotaxis will produce earnings per share growth.
When investing in any kind of leading-edge tech you need to anticipate what might happen if the tech is successful.
Same applies to Crispr and other types of high tech. It's possible that the tech will fail - producing a bubble. It's possible it will succeed and those that are waiting to see the numbers will miss out.

Tesla 30T , absolutely, once the stock goes ballistic and has its bull run , normally conservative investors won’t make there move until they see solid revenue or gains , as you know Randy , this time could be a little different with technology and robotics Ai however 30T might take a while 2029 but 1T to 5T easily in a very short space of time
The truth is that some of the biggest advances that Tesla is pursuing are undermining other profit areas. Fully autonomous driving will reduce the need for multicar families as FSD will allow car sharing
True but even though people will buy fewer cars, the revenue from robo-taxi will go up. This revenue will be much more than the profit from selling cars. As much as Elon keeps telling Tesla owners how much they will make renting out their cars, most will not do that. By far the robo-taxi fleet will be owned by Tesla.

Musk added Optimus to ARK Invests Robotaxi prediction, and ARKs prediction were in 5 years. But Musk's wasn't!
My guess is that both of these will grow much slower than that, so 5 years will just begin showing any real results.
In 5 years, the Wall Street analysts will just have started include these revenue streams in their analysis, and accordingly raised their targets somewhat.
But they don't give any 5 years targets, so they will be modest, and so will the stock prise be at that time.
Musk's prediction was for these things fully grown, but without giving any time for when that is.

No, but I expect that there will be taxes to pay on their productivity. We will need to pay for services for everyone somehow, and even with taxes applied overall productivity and prices will drop for manufactured goods

There already are taxes on profits. There's no reason for taxes on robots in businesses.
Sometime even our polititians will realize that taxes on production is bad, and that it's on consumption we should have taxes.
What if truck manufacturers would price their trucks on how much money the trucks would make in their lifetime, what if car manufacturers would price their cars on the amount of money they would make if Ubering, what if coffee machine makers would price their coffee machines on the amount of money restaurants could make on them?
I would say enough with these stupid ideas. You manufacture a product and sell it at a margin and that should be enough. If you want to make money with the product, that is a totally different business.

Before beginning a new book. How about Elon finish the current book. Where's the roadster? Where's the 4680? Where's the Semi? Where's Optimus? Where's Giga Mexico? Where's Robotaxi? Where's Solar? Where's the compact car?
4680 and Semi - ramping now.
Optimus - in testing
Mexico - on hold while Texas ramps
Solar - difficult to scale up
Etc. if you are an investor you already knew that.

@@MegaWilderness It depends what you call ramping. The 4680s are being produced in big numbers. The tech is not as sophisticated as was hoped for but one thing is certain - battery tech will continue to evolve.
The fact that the production factory for the Semi is being built shows Tesla is through the testing phase. Once again though, I expect the Semi will continue to evolve.
