Since this vid is about the ottoman empire Here are some fun facts about the ottoman empire: 1- the ottomans were the strongest in their era, even when they were still a new nation They were broken, almost no one was able to compete with them 1 on 1 2- they were so strong that Europe had to jump them up, and that's how the ottoman decline started, they were getting picked on by multiple powers all at once every time they tried to do something 3- the ottomans changed European warfare forever 4- they did it by introducing some stuff called strategies (Europe at the time was just launching troops everywhere that could be countered easily) 5- most of the ottoman arab territories joined willingly to the empire 6- most of the ppl lived in the ottoman empire weren't even Turks, in fact, turks were a minority. 7- ottoman empire had high tolerance towards other religions (the main reason why the Balkans are mostly Christian) and also treated everyone equally... That's until the mid-late 1800's and early 1900's 8- when Constantinople was conquered, the city was mostly intact 9- Egypt when still part of the empire tried industrialization which led to more and more debt to the British leading them to be owned by the British in a later date 10- under the ottoman rule Palestine was a mixed bag containing : Christians, Muslims, Jews, turks arabs and all of those lived in peace
