Kayn, the first to get the spotlight, on the lore is a youngster who suffered from child labor, until he eventually got a hold of a Darkin weapon (a scythe in this case). Darkin are corrupted divine beings who were sealed in weapons by celestial beings, being weakened therefore too, they are still powerful tho, and are quick to try and possess the body of those who dare weild them. Kayn gets away from Noxus, ends up in Ionia where he meets Zed and becomes his disciple, fighting back the Darkin for control over his body and learning Shadow arts (such as that moment where he vanishes into smoke and passes through a wall) to become the ultimate assassin. That is... if he manages to defeat the Darkin, otherwise he shall lose control and it will unleash carnage everywhere it goes. Here in this skinline it seems that the darkin is his stage persona and they work together instead of against each other. Fun fact: they can talk to each other, and end up having quite funny interactions, the darkin's name is Rhaast.
Ezreal follows up. The green haired boy who sings the transition to the chorus. He is a lot less complicated, a young, cocky yet reasonably so due to being a prodigy, adventurer who wanted to impress and find his parents (who disappeared after going on an expedition, although ezreal was used to this cuz they were explorers too) through finding a magical artifact, the gauntlet he wields, which he did. However, he can't fully exploit the full power of it. As you can see he can only teleport short distances, and release arrows of energy from it. He strives to become the very best explorer.
K'Sante grabs the keys right after. He's big man, hunt monsters, protect his vilage and the people. He had a boyfriend with whom he hunted with, but they broke up cuz K'Sante was too careless. He learned from that and grew into having a lighter temper, although a lot of confidence still.
Sett is the other big muscly guy, in the arena. In the lore his mother is a Vastaya, and his dad a man from Noxus. Vastaya are essentially people with animal features (Ahri for example, who is a fox) and they can wield magic. His father abandoned them, and his mother (who btw is presumably from a lion-inspired vastayan species) was poor. Sett decided to make his own business, he's the boss of a fighting arena, and stays undefeated as a brawler there too. He never lets his mom find out tho, he tries to protect her innocence and convince her that he geta the money in a legitimate honest way. As he receives damage, Sett stores energy, which he can then release in a massively powerful strike.
Aphelios is the guy with the purple mask. He is the instrumentalist and song writter. He doesn't sing unlike the previous 4, because he is mute. Well, not naturally in the original lore, only in this skin. Btw, him and Sett (despite not even knowing each other in the cannon lore) were always very shipped. Riot themselves acknowledged this and made them be in a relationship in another skinline (spirit blossom), in this one it is hinted at too, but we're unsure. Aphelios and his sister Alune are Lunari, an oppressed group that resides in mount Targon. He is a trained soldier and a formidable assassin, while Alune is a priest and is connected to the celestials spiritually. One day, the Solari invaded their settlement with the intent to kill every Lunari. The only survivors were Aphelios and Alune, because they killed the invading Solari. Alune travelled to the celestial realm and is now stranded there, but from there she can grant Aphelios the blessings of the celestial of the Moon, from which she can summon him 5 different weapons (nanely firearms) blessed with celestial magic. In order to communicate with Alune through the realms, Aphelios must consume a potion made from the Noctum flower, which grants him affinity towards the celestial of the moon and allows him to hear and speak to Alune, but is extremely painful to drink, to the point where his throat becomes numb and he goes mute. Together, through their sacrifices, they purge the Solari discrimination and become terrifying marksmen.
Yone, the other guy that puts on a mask, white hair with red stripes, is the producer. He also doesn't sing. He is an ionian swordmaster who was trained alongside his brother Yasuo by their master, they learned the art of the wind. Noxus invaded Ionia and Yasuo was told to protect the temple and the master, while Yone and the others left to defend their land. Yasuo ignored their demands, as he wanted to fight back against the Noxians too, so he left the temple unprotected. The master was later found dead and Yasuo was framed for his murder. Yone was furious, and swore to strike down his brother for his honor. They fought, but ultimately Yasuo killed Yone. Yone found himself in the spirit realm, and was terrorized by a demon, but he fought back and achieved clarity. Through the demon, he was reborn, and he now made it his life mission to protect his nation from demons and evil spirits. Since then, he has made peace with Yasuo too, there's an amazing cinematic about it in League's channel, called the Kin of the Stained Blade or something along those lines.

Yone's mask is actually the azakana that brought him back to life,he is killing every single azakana he encounters until he finds out the name of the mask so he can seal it
@@icedquokkain this universe, Aphelios has a damaged voicecord therefore he couldnt sing, he's not fully mute (like his original ingame lore).
For Yone, his brother Yasuo rose to fame being the producer/DJ of the band True Damage (they have an MV too). Yone being jealous of this and became a producer himself for Heartsteel.
@@angpham941Aphelios isn't actually mute in canon universe either. He just constantly drinks poison that allows him to be in contact with Alune, but burns his throat so he can't talk.
@@icedquokka another detail is, in the beginning of the song it was actually rhaast (kayn's darkin/demon) who is singing.

Fun fact: the plot of this music video is that the band has been blacklisted by the execs of the industry so they broke in to flim their own music video. All the effects are drawn onto the film itself. Most of the shots are done with Yone's camera drones but occasionally you can see shots from other characters such as when ezrael was shooting k'sante in the chariot scene.

The portrayal of Kayn was perfect. His looks and voice contradicts since the voice is Rhaast's voice and his aggressive and rash personality shown while dodging lasers express how the shadow and the darkin sides are clutching for control. Great job riot 💯

Music produced by riot is normally pretty chill with copyright except in some cases where an already existing band (mainly Imagine Dragons) might have some rights to the song... (possibly New Jeans too also... but it was pretty wellknown when Imagine Dragons did Enemy that the channels that got hit by copyright was actually from Imagine Dragons side and not Riot´s)

doubt they are canon since sett was adopted and raised as a war thug from noxus and aphelios is from another region. I don't even think they did ever met. There was one skinline wich made them "in love" with eachother and that should be all. But again skinlines are noncanon\alternative universes mostly.
K'sante instead is the 1st gay character in main canon lore, and i think the akward moment when Sett grabbs K'sante and saves him is a reference to this (also, the both of them are togheter during the criminal record photoshoot)
