Go to Eastern Region (Aburi Mountain) and Western Region (Takoradi)... The places there is nicer than Accra and Kumasi

Have we learned NOTHING from the late great Kwame Nkruma? I just googled this Walker guy........no surprise, another White man is coming to the "rescue" in Africa. Smdh. Nothing in life is free, remember that!
    Do for self.

Good, further investment in Ghana is a positive
But what you'll see is ignorant people complaining in the comment section, about what is a positive industrial gain complaining about colonialism, forgotten that even Ethiopia, to not get colonized enlistened European help. Menelik II was able to play European powers into providing him his guns through playing their desire for control of Ethiopia, the Italians seeing the French provide the Ethiopians with guns, feared their waning influence in the region, and so they provided the Ethiopians with even more guns, eventually they were both kicked out. But in this second stage of the scramble in Africa, instead of learning from the past and playing our cards, taking advantage of the competiting interests of China, America and other European powers, we choose emotionalism over intelligence, and would rather choose to forsake the geopolitical game we've found ourself in, but I'm sorry to tell you ladies and gentlemen, refusing to play the game doesn't guarantee you as the victor, but only guarantees you as the first loser.

True, but is this what is going on here? Having them do it for you and take most of the money out of your country is not smart. I have seen this too many times in the Caribbean Islands, they need to work with you so you can do for yourself, teach your own, provide living wages for the workers is what needs to be done so the money stays in the community. Then build on this by providing better roads and infrastructure for the next years invite since it's their major income. Support companies, provide policies, for companies to develop and hire.
I understand trade is a good step and I hope Ghanaians companies, have a major seat at the table instead of others who are representing them to make a killing, the Chinese, UK, European union, have their act together, so I hope they have some very savy negotiators on their team.

@Evans Bro so much hypocrisy among Ghanaians. The same people complaining are the same people complaining about lack of jobs and investment.
How do you expect jobs to be created if there are no investors..??
I wish some of them really think before they talk.

@Evans Good. Yes everyone wants good paying jobs and for the country to flourish, but not at the cost of giving away the store. There are just too many who are licking their chops wanting to get in and make a killing at the expense of the Ghanaian people.
There is a reason why so many African countries have the leadership they have.

So when will Africans learn? What did the first partnership brought to us? Slave trade! They came out of the European union to invest in Africa?

If ur rich folks in Ghana don't wanna invest in their own country, then I suppose, white folks will continue to steal ur natural resources and ur economy uknowamsayin. It is said, "Black man can't creat or invent anything"

    Still under non colonialism.
So stupid that's not the development we need. We need self reliance.
I take it they built the Accra airport
