I’m assuming there’s an inverse exponential curve that makes it so every extra Tree item has diminishing returns… This prevents your computer from exploding from so many trees on screen, and your viewers from enjoying watching it happen. 😂
It's just capped at 99 with some spawn rate limiting. I gave Dex the code needed to go unlimited lol.
Similar with armor I think. Logarithmic curve, so diminishing returns.
As every hunter knows, you don't bring an axe on christmas when you want a tree from the woods... you bring a shotgun xD
I usually use it to scare away the owner and take the owners tree

Hi Dex, Sifd actually made a vid that shows it's possible to crash the game so those comments saying about inversion curve might hold true as Sifd made his near quadrillion damage amt inverse to only 1 due to number lock barrier

This game definitely still has some issues with thing not working the way you'd think, maybe it's the engine used?

All the caps are intentional for performance or balance reasons. I've unlocked maximum enemies and the game gets very sluggish once you hit over 500-600 on screen at once. I zoomed the map out and it's fun but def not a complete engine limit, but CPU. Working on removing the collision bottlenecks actually for my mods.
Maybe explosion damage reduce crates drop rate? Like a crates been destroyed 😅

Probably it could be playable if you make the trees a bit more expensive and give them some luck.

my guess is that each tree pickup doesnt increase the spawn rate linear but with a (-x²)+ax with xx kinda kurve and since the normal game never offers you enough tree pickups to reach x value above the turning point you get less tress when forcing through mod
The first tree cycle on 87k should then still be a couple hundreds though
It seems like there is a limit of how many things are on the screen. With the Sifd-Mod and the rainbow chests, you can easily bump up the amount of trees, enemies or even mines.
F.e. I had a ton of mines, then bumped up the enemies spawns with mice. That led to not having mines at all.
Same if I had a lot (like 10 times more on the screen than in this run) of tress spawning, then bumped up the enemies spawns with mice. That led again to way fewer trees.
Since you bumped the enemies spawns at least one time, that maybe the reason why there were so few trees on the screen for you. 😅
Having like 100x trees was enough to make a huge forest. But maybe that depends on luck as well. Which is bumped up by a lot in the sifd-mod. 🧐
Have you tried the Extatonion mod? It's huge and awesome \o/
i feel like you should just accept every item because theirbare so many item you don't need to choose xd
What about finding the best Item? Like that you are only can Buy one Item (maybe a Mod to get only one grey Item in the Shop and the Higher Tiers are the same) and try to get as powerful as possible

Also, out of interest: Does the bag (+20 materials on crate pickup) also apply for the auto picked up crates at end of wave?
