I want to play this game so much! I bought it, I tried it for a few minutes and got so overwhelmed. It's definitely a lot to learn and I have no experience or knowledge. You're making me want to try playing SV again!
I did the same thing! Didn't play again for three or four years, and now I have 200 hours in it from just the past half year or so. It's addicting! Especially with the expanded mod, there's so much to do!
So glad you are continuing stardew expanded! Can't wait to see more of this mod. Also the pain of being off by one day on planting crops is all too real lol

U get used to it the more u play.
Could always try it modded like with longer days
Once you start making sprinklers you're able to get a lot more done
