Since South Africa's May 29, 2024 elections, a Government of National Unity (GNU) has been established to guide the country forward for the next five years. While the GNU brings its own complexities, challenges from civil society and other stakeholders are also anticipated, making close monitoring essential. The 12th Global Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy offers a platform to share our experiences, discuss challenges, and engage with international delegates, deepening discussions and enhancing global peace and democracy.
