Thank you for the detailed explanation, The fact that the braking system works stand-alone is a big reassurance, as tablets and networks can get "quirky".
I'm still very satisfied with the complete system. A few reasons, I have the RVi TPMS (Tire Patrol) system, their Towed vehicle battery charger, and their RVi tablet and hup unit, the RVi 3 Brake pairs with the tablet, I can control it all from the one tablet. One other reason is the RVi3 Brake has the latest technology, as well as 'Brake Lock Detection'.
15:19 you mentioned you connect the rvi brake directly to the battery. How do you do that? When ignition is not on there is no power to the cigarette lighter.
Correct, I used a 15-amp (fused) 18-gauge wire 12-volt adapter hooked directly to the Ranger's battery, The 12-volt power ports in the Ranger goes into battery saver mode (power shuts off) after 20 minutes from the ignition being shut off.
About $1600 for the portable RVi3 unit, then if you want you can buy a bundle the for $1920 which includes RVi3 brake, commend center, hub and 10 TPMS sensors.

Thanks for watching Ricky.
Does the RVi tablet come with the purchase of the RVi braking system
No, that would be purchased separately.
HI, thanks, great video. Two questions: 1. Are you still happy with the RVi3 breaking system? 2. Why did you move away from the break buddy?

i am in need of the charging cables that connect the hub to power and the tablet to power, ido not see those items available for sale anywhere.
You need a USB-A to Micro USB cable, make sure it's a (Micro) and not a mini cable.
What happens if you need 8 for the rv and 4 for the toad.
The system will support up to 14 sensors.
