pintos/appaloosas and markings are actually white * because they have pink skin underneath.
Grey is a gene that takes over the natural color, for example a chestnut with a grey gene, so they are almost always born with a base color and grey over time. pure white horses are considered rare since they almost always die at birth. Sometimes pintos are born with no base as the marking takes over and can be considered white but genetically they are whatever base color the parents made. Hope that makes sense! I took genetics classes as i have worked for breeding barns so ask me anything anytime haha
I would like the game to have more roleplaying elements like being able to feed groom wash etc and possibly show jumping dressage hunter jumping added to it also i would like a auction house where you can go and rescue horse instead of buying normally and it would ad a nice element to it also but i kno the auction house is alot but games have done it in the past like ranch of rivershine
So exited to watch, I love all the new coats! And Eclipse is my favourite out of the main horses.

rival stars genetics is all based on visual color/pattern and hidden genes not pedigree, they inherit hidden genes from their parents and sometimes a hidden gene will pass down and it looks like a pattern skips a generation but the game doesn't draw from the pedigree
It is kind of with the Legacy option which does take coats and pattern from the pedigree but it is also random for the most part

Insult and Anger were my favorite starter horses in this video. I have a thing for flaxen manes. Baritone is also my choice for the first wave of breedings. Revenge is absolutely gorgeous too! I love how grey she got as an adult. Wallpaper is so adorable ♥. Plate is my favorite of the entire video though.

Anger, Superstar and bluff are for sure my favs of the starting line up
Interesting thing about the sharp overo: if you look at the side, the markings almost spell out "horse" and there is a photo of a real horse with the exact same markings that I first saw about 10+ years ago. So safe to say the devs saw this photo and based a coat pattern on it.
After a bit of digging, I found the aforementioned photo was indeed photoshopped (not surprised, it is a huge coincidence for markings to spell out a word), but it's still pretty cool.
You should do a breeding video where you breed horses that look like inside out characters. I really want to see that done cause nobody else has done it😊

My favorite out of all the foals was Plate.
I have to say i love a lot of the roan coats they are adding because i am a sucker for roans. I would love to be able to have a blue roan in my stable on the game.
I would love to see them add Barrel racing to the game because of them adding in the Quarter horses.

For White and grey, I think it’s that white horses have pink skin.😅 That’s how I know if I call a horse white or grey when they have a white coat colour. And splash pinto, pintos in general can have Quarter Horses genes but as soon as they have a pinto coat, they will not be registered as quarter horses as it’s not a characteristic from the breed (in the US Canada anyway)

Insult certainly delivered with her first foal, Friday is absolutely gorgeous! From the second batch I'm choosing Comfort as my favorite although it was almost a tie between him and Companion. And from batch three it's a tie between Wallpaper and Chaos, I can't decide which one I like more. And from the last batch I'm choosing to run with Tree. I'm a sucker for pinto coats, Appaloosas and the like, pretty much anything with a little bit of flair. Although there is nothing wrong with a good old "bland" looking horse either, my heart horse was a blood bay with a wide blaze and a couple socks, and no other horse will ever be as beautiful as she was. God, I miss her so much.

I like Eclipse. The Sleeved Roan with the black coat is absolutely stunning on her. I will have to remember that one for my horses on Rival Stars. I love roans. Bluff is also very handsome. The Collared Appaloosa look is very clean and sharp...especially with that rich brown coloration. I like it. Friday with the rich brown coat and inkblot pinto pattern is just stunning. I really like that one.
I really liked the first three pairings you chose. The ladies look gorgeous with Bluff. I am excited to see their babies. Friday was my favorite, of the first 3. Comfort was my favorite of the second batch. His coat was the most beautiful and unique of the three, I thought.

Just to tell you Abigail there is a breeding guide near the bottom of the screen when you are breeding do it helps a little bit on how to understand how they choose coat patterns etc on the foal. Just press the breeding guide button and then scroll down and it tells you what could possibly happen. Also it is grey when you say its a white horse because horse people like me say grey instead of white. Love your videos i thought i might just give you a couple tips to help.❤❤

Well, yes, there are no white horses, but they do seem white, but they are just older/lighter grays horses, so, those who argue that they aren’t white are indeed, correct, but fir the people who are newer to horses may confuse it, but don’t get mad cause when I first got a horse I thought white was white and not gray, so no, white horses do not exist, but people may confuse them for white

With the first batch prob Friday its auch a cute color
Being able to do more than race and jump. Dressage, or showjumping; something in an arena! Being able to classify your horse in a certain discipline (based on your judgement). Like Classifying your Thoroughbred as a racing only horse, so you cant enter it in other disciplines competitions. This however could be changed either with money, or leveling up the skills to a certain requirement, making the horse able to start jumping/do dressage. More aspects when customizing your character, being able to put on English/Western Clothes rather than just silks. any kind of gameplay that seems more like your connecting with your horse, like grooming, feeding, or making training apart of the gameplay, rather than paying to level up your horse. Horses having traits, like in "The Sims", Which would feed into how quickly they progress with training. A foal/ yearling stage in which you can train your horse to raise stats. when trained, there will be a stat requirement. when all stat requirements are met, the horse advances in age. Training your horse would come with benefits like in game currency. In hand showing/Halter showing for foals or yearlings, to increase earnings. A warmblood, or a connemara as a basic all-around type horse. Polo wraps, boots, bits, ect. that raise horses stats or give advantages based on what competition your entering. ex: Tendon boots give jump boosts in XC, Bits give better control in steeplechase, Saddles giving you advantages in racing.

I would LOVE for Rival Stars to do an Iberian Warmblood model for their game. They had this horse for the game Horse Isle and it was absolutely stunning and elegant. I bet with this game's gorgeous coat patterns and colors, they would look 10 times more beautiful. Also, the Quarter Horse and the Andalusian and the Friesian horse.

The crossbreeding is amazing i play on mobile and it has come out! It creates unique coats even when you breed a horse with a mark on its face it is so pretty!

First breeding: Friday . I would yap about why I like Friday but I won’t
Second breeding: Comfort he’s adorable. Not a fan of Sabinos but it’s cute
Third breeding: Clock. Though Wallpaper is a close second. Just because clock is different to the other 2.
Fourth breeding: Sand Dollar. She’s so cute and the white is so subtle but plate is adorable to.
