Hi Steve. I attended to both presentations and enjoyed a lot. I don’t see a single challenge which can be taken from the list. But I did expect you to include UNMANAGED COMPLEXITY. I don’t think it is a textbook term, but I am sure you know what I mean. Regards, Stan

Very interesting! Let me give that some thought. Thanks for the recommendation!

Please allow me to KISS it … Any decent enterprise / capability / program / project work ends (should) with LESSONS LEARNT. Q - So, what did we spent most effort on? A - On developing BASELINE (I mean TOGAF BASELINE). Q- Why did we spend so much on something we thought must be easy? A- We didn’t get BASELINE right. Q (I made it up) - We have Ford Knox Gateway with 700+ S level controls and maniac endpoint protection. How did they breach us???? A- Through the channel we forgot…
Furthermore, I guess every challenge you mentioned in two presentations becomes bigger or smaller dependently on the BASELINE clarity. Feel free to reach out directly for more.. I am a fossil grown up during times when Rational Rose was a norm and was not taken by the IBM.
