Thanks for the machining video Chris, the second part really turned like a potato 😁to rough out it's not easy you can break the insert. Have a nice week-end.
Very nice lathe work , those two rounds were so far from being good to start with . Finished shafts look great except for the pit in the one but guess it didn't matter for the application . Great video .
Some of your videos show finished works installed, anyway you can show us you putting some of them together? Love your vids btw, massive parts is cool af to watch.
hello, i have a question did your parts ever started to run-out after the Rough machining of the part if you had them on a tail stock, (beacuse i am having problems becouse my parts (100+ kg) alweys start to run-out, and i have to to the centering again if i want to make the hole and outside run-out at 0) and if you know what to do i wuld be grateful
I sure do love watching machining videos immediately after I couldnt wait to not be at work machining anymore!
I dunno man, I sure do love watching these videos then immediately can’t wait to get back to work to start machining again
When your work is your passion! Greetings from Germany.
i mean its easier to just let this guy do it LOL i do the same exact thing
Same here. My wife rolls her eyes every time, when i watch machining videos after i told her how hard this week on work was. ^^
Spent 40 + years machining and would never do it again. A lot goes into machining that people do not understand.
Thanks for the video, it's always cool to see big parts being created.
Some precision tolerances on a big chunk of metal! Very nice. Thanks a lot for sharing. Have a pleasant and peaceful Sunday.

Thank you for these videos and showing how the parts you make fit into the larger assembly.
Great job Chris, some bad runout on those castings.👍
Some tight tolerances Chris. Nice work.
Well that was a NASTY but tasty bit of recycling.
Nice work!
Always when something is not round like 3:25 it keep scaring me somehow im i the only one?🤣
great video, i love to see those shots with low spots ❤
I absolutely love your videos man!
Tough material to machine mate, came out well 👍 thanks for sharing 👍

Tight tolerances for a big casting. Thanks.
Superb job mate👍🏻tight tolerances in to the bargain 😉
Chris, the first one completed, 3m15s seemed to have a bot of a hole left in it?
Customer I've got this square thing Can you make it round
Great video 👍👍
Blue chips Corrigen!

I don't really have time to stick around the assembly area.
All good, completely understandable lol
Nice machine
VERY IMPRESSIVE.
That second piece with the porosity won't be an issue?
Luckily, it's not a critical area.
6:04 that is some ugly porosity 😢
👍👍👍🤘

I can see that they used some precision metrology when they made those forgings. I mean, 4cm runout is nothing, right?
They're castings.
@@lancer2204 Oops. Well, anyway, that makes it seem even worse.
for some reason i thought they were forgings. casting that far out is terrible qc
4:40'daki no WNMG, yes VBMT
i am from India if I was there I love to work with you
What is the end machine?
Wish I knew. Something to do with the steel mill industry.
Time lapse it
Well, too late now.
like
Shrinkage at the feeders?
Love the slow-motion views it's so cool watching the chips roll and snap. Doesn't get any better than this.
😅🤩👌👍
