- Here Nouman Ali Khan explains the lesson from Quran 28:77-78
Quran 28:77-78 addresses the story of Qarun (Korah), a wealthy figure from the time of Prophet Moses. In verse 77, the Quran advises Qarun to use his wealth for good, such as charity, and to seek the Hereafter, rather than just enjoying earthly pleasures. It emphasizes gratitude towards Allah and the importance of not forgetting one’s duties to others and to God.
Verse 78 recounts Qarun’s response, where he boasts about his wealth and power, attributing it solely to his own knowledge and efforts. His arrogance leads him to dismiss the guidance given to him. The verses underscore the dangers of pride and materialism, highlighting that true success lies in using one's resources for righteousness and not in self-aggrandizement.
