Bought a 2010 Soul brand new, and still have it and she is runnin like a top. However, after 9+ years on the roads here in Texas with some 245k miles, I think that it might be time to retire her. Still, gotta say, I have owned a wide variety of cars over the decades from Beemers to Wranglers but to date, the Soul...WOW! This mighty midget has gone through hell and back in those 9+ years and she keeps on running, you can not kill it. Save a starter and serpentine belt and basic PM...Oil...Tires...it has been the most hassle-free car that I have ever owned. I will put the 2019 Soul at the top of my shopping list later this year, along with the Subaru Crosstrek.
The Subaru Crosstrek is a very good car, but I love the Soul also. You also know the 2020 Kia soul is the new generation, so be looking out for that!! I know I can't wait to drive it.
You did an excellent job with this review. I just bought a 2019 Kia Soul Plus and I like it for all the reasons you like it and I don’t like it for all the reasons you don’t like it. However, I am very happy with it. Thanks for helping me make the decision to buy it!
@@scorpiocara6798 not till you own it. A lease is basically like renting for 2-3 years. You turn it in at the end and get another new car. And yes in most cases there is interest involved. They usually want you to put a down payment of 3k but we don’t do that. You also pay a disposition fee of 4 to 8 hundred at the end. We have only ever paid 400. Depends on the vehicle you get. We are 1 year in on a Kia Sportage payment is about 250 a month. Mileage is also involved so if you drive a lot a lease isn’t for you.
Yeah I think a car with this size with awd would be a popular and attractive package. You done really need AWD but it’s nice to have. I live in Oregon we have weather that would makes awd nice to have.
TooBIG's Weight Loss Surgery Journey so I know you were asking one of the others when you asked. At this time I was 2 months post op from the vsg and I was still like 470 pounds or so. And they were comfortable even when I was at 532 my highest. So if you want one this is one of the best small cars for big dudes
Not formally but I have talked about it in the video Car Shopping Vlog 1. I just owned a 2014 ford fiesta for 1 year and it's the same but slightly smaller and I like the soul way more. plus the focus's develope transmission issues.
+G Ryders I do want to add I work for a rental car company so I have driven many many focus’s and the transmission don’t hold up well with time and miles.
G Ryders yea I've heard that. I own a truck right now but I'm just tired of filling up every 2 days. My truck is paid off. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger. I just need a good daily driver.

Good Video. I wish they made an AWD version also. The dealer said "that's why we make the Sportage". Nice land there!

Waiting on mine I bought today. Got the EX Tech model. It's so loaded.
We have a 2016 leased and we love it.
What's the difference between leasing n financing. I thought it was all the same thing but apparently it's not
@@scorpiocara6798 leasing is typically cheaper.
@@tagy66 how does it work...u just basically like rent it until you own it? Is there interest involved

Good review😁
Well considering your size it looks like a pretty roomy car.
Yes its extremely roomy for a car this size!!!!
What's so good about all wheel drive what's the difference. Is it better in the snow or something

How does this car compare to the Focus?
+Mike Herrington it doesn’t. The soul is way better.
G Ryders have u done a review on a Focus? I've driven both and i like how they both drive.

I wonder when they are gonna make a automatic car just like that because I can't drive a stick shift.
It is automatic. The manual is just an option. :-)
