    Amazing technology, but I do worry that the age of having an inexpensive accident, a bump on the fender, a cracked light, are over. Imagine rolling the grill into something with all those sensors!
    Brian fantastic as always.

      The only time the size would remotely make sense is when it would be a 7 seater with a decent boot like the ford excursion.

    They made the grill so big that they had to steal the headlights from the Hyundai Kona :S Other than that, it's a great concept, if only Audi had the guts to actually sell something like this :D

    Nice design. If they shrink the length and wheelbase, I'd be interested. I'd also like to see either removable passenger seats, or at least seats that fold flat to haul large cargo.

    Imagine the cost of replacing the headlights after a small accident? And the price of new rubber for your 24” wheels? Too big, too heavy, I think Audi’s design peaked 5-10 years ago. S4 avant has always been a favourite.

    Audi - please make it shorter (5,2 m max ) for Europe with sliding doors and 7 proper seats. That would also do well in USA as future minivan to compete with next gen Sienna, Carnival, Pacifica and Odyssey. At the moment I am waiting for EQT from Mercedes, if true to concept could be nice:)

    What's "urban" about this huuuge bulky car? 🤔
    Weird name, but the car looks cool for what it is = a van. Audi's design team does great lately with the e-tron models!

    My first thought was 'eh, Brian's lost weight..', and then I noticed the lack of wedding ring and I wondered what was going on. After the comparison with 'a stressful divorce' I figured out what our Brian has been up to! Hope you're okay buddy! Stay fit, healthy and positive!
    Anyway, I'd love to see a review of the ID Buzz Cargo with all its configurations (and camper conversion potential) when you get the chance.

    The grill has to have a technical role in the aerodynamic and efficiency goal. Succeeding in this gives it a good look too becouse we like succes and adge technology . Not making the grill a putyclub lights show.and not as Audi makes it in a flat un useless display.

  • @choosumfat
    @choosumfat 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I have to say, other than idiotically bad use of space, I find nothing amazing about this....thing. Sure, it looks pretty cool but so do hundreds of other concepts (no, this will not get made - this is a luxury airport shuttle). Complete with some creepy AI to complete the experience. On the flipside, this (and others like it) concept is a ray of hope for those who normally are passengers suffering the joys of simply riding in a car, bored out of their freaking minds. They should take comfort in knowledge that auto manufacturers are hard at work ensuring that in the near future, *all* occupants of their "cars" will be equally miserable. Cause everyone likes to ride a bus, no?

  • @screamingeagle1316
    @screamingeagle1316 ปีที่แล้ว

    Level 4 autonomous driving won't happen in our lifetime so if this goes into production Audi will add a steering wheel for sure. Also, it will have 7 seats not these stupid slowly moving 'easy to sit' ones.

    I hate engineers they are never practical thinking. In what parking lot can you open your doors like that without hitting the car beside you?

    • @ClaireYunFarronXIII
      @ClaireYunFarronXIII 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What are you going on about? The doors open the exact same way as traditional doors, just rear-hinged at that back. And if you are talking about automatic doors and you are worried about them hitting a car; new cars with automatic doors have sensors and cameras which monitor the surroundings of the car (like almost every other modern car has), now they are also used to guide the doors. The Mercedes-Benz EQS works the same way.

    • @bobbowie9350
      @bobbowie9350 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      these doors have been a design cliche for years and years. No one really likes them but it keeps popping up.

    This is one of the rare Autogefühl I have to dislike.
    I don't understand Brian's enthusiasm for technology so wrongly misplaced.
    Useless LEDs on the outside, tons of motors so head spheres can rotate around your head, AI which no one will ever use.
