I like being near water, but I find if you get too close you will likely get attacked by midgets and mosquitos. Not worth it imo. I try to stay at least 50 meters from any water source. The tree that was chopped down might have been a widow maker waiting to happen. Who knows…..

I know some bird calls... Sparrows , robins and black birds..
And when its silent in the woods, I think they're resting.
