Access is great for basic database functionality. It is a bit limited when having multi-users at the same time but it is still possible. What you are describing sounds perfectly fine for Access.

How do you get the circle around your curser on screen?
It's the screen cast software that I use that puts it there. Most screen casting software will have this option.
