+James Brice ...and when the 'Ghost Story' episodes were rerun under the title 'Circle of Fear', any references to Sebastain Cabot were deleted..NBC merely filled the extra time with more network promos...
Danny Hill It was a pretty good show of its kind. Night Gallery was winding down this same year with episodes that were nowhere near as good as the season before, and the next horror show that I.would be interested in wouldn't begin for almost two years. ..The Night Stalker...but this WAS the era of the great spooky movie of the Week movies that were often so memorable.

Wonderful to see something from the early 70s with such a good quality picture. Nice puzzler though the real mystery here is grey sideburns on both men.
Yes and sadly it has come to light, recently, Hitchcock threatened her; he would "ruin her career" if she didn't sleep with himshe agreed he did hurt her career. So 1973, she would be in a slump.

Great show. Thank you for posting!
Glad they kept the "Ghost Story" music, and did anyone notice that one of the coffee cups had the same pattern as in the opening sequence?
I remember the changeover. I guess Sebastian as a host jist wasn't cutting it or something. I remember a lot of these episodes...I was 13 when they aired, and they only lasted one season.
+James Brice Sebastian died of cancer.
+James Brice It was a bad year for anthology series hosts. Cabot got the boot, and Serling felt he had no control of "Gallery" because it wasn't his baby as "TZ" was.
Wonderful to see something from the early 70s with such a good quality picture. Nice puzzler though the real mystery here is grey sideburns on both men.
Very good episode!!!
Loved this as a kiddo!
She was such a beautiful woman. No wonder Tony Curtis snapped her up.
The cup she gives her husband has the same logo on it as the show.
Cool I didn't notice I'll look for it now so
And this was the first episode since the change up of the series.
No it isn't, not even close. Sorry!
@@jatigre1 Not the logo but the pattern looks identical.
@@jatigre1 It's Close ..
Janet Leigh looking about 10 years younger than her age! Beautiful!
Great show, thanks for the upload.
This vaguely rings a bell, I have seen it but was in the mid 1970’s when I was 14 or 15. Wow it’s 2024 and my second time seeing this.
Janet Leigh and the original Bates Motel, loved her in that!Showers were never the same!
Janet Leigh was gorgeous
Yes and sadly it has come to light, recently, Hitchcock threatened her; he would "ruin her career" if she didn't sleep with himshe agreed he did hurt her career. So 1973, she would be in a slump.
@@yaywhewclips242 that was tippy hedren
Yes and so was Tony. But their kid Jamie...
Digging his Eddie Munster hair style.
I love all the stars in these. They were wonderful. Not like the crap they spew out today. But the poor tarantula. This is why I had arachnophobia till I was in my 40's. Because Tv shows portrayed them as evil. But with therapy I learned to love spiders. So do not fear tarantulas. I have a curly haired tarantula and she is as laid back as ever. LOL But other than that I am enjoying watching these again. I know I watched them once a couple of years ago, but I have a brain injury that allows me to watch things over and over again (after some time has passed) because I don't remember what happens. lol The good side to an injury. :) Thanks so much for posting!!
after ghost story another great show from the 70's
Thanks for posting.
Those shrunken candy apple witch heads were scary as hell! 🍎👹
I 🖤 this show! It has the best actors and actresses!
I liked when the spider came down while she was in bed...you could actually see the string tied around it's belly...lol
OK NUT JOB! Killing is Killing even if you make it look good. Ahhh I feel for her, its making me itchy too.
In the afterlife, if it were that easy, a whole lot of unsolved cases would be solved by now
Good Show,enjoyed it.
"It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincents fritters'
Motel Hell 😁
Yeah buddy. To this day I m afraid to eat sausage
Remember this series - was a kid when this was on in the seventies oxox
the only thing missing from these 'Circle of Fear' intros is Casey Casem saying, 'Tonight, live dangerously. Step into NBC's Circle of Fear'. i guess not wanting to pay royalties had something to do with that, plus the mention of 'NBC"...Similarly, Sebastain Cabot was cut from the 'Ghost Story' episodes rerun under 'Circle of Fear'. ...
eh eh eh!😉
james dean no..he died a couple of years ago...
