I’m 40 now and been in addiction since I was a teen now 5 years clean and sober. I can relate to Paul as my head also doesn’t shut up and the only thing that made me feel comfortable was heroin. I now have a job a fiancé and a step daughter but struggle every day with normal life. In the end after you have given up the substance you are left with your head which can be crippling. Hope things work out for Paul he looks like he’s in a good place. Thanks for this pod cast God Bless 🙏

Great podcast, I’d not seen or heard of Paul since Holloyoaks as I don’t follow ‘celebrity’ BS had no idea of his journey, brilliant honesty, great actor, I’d cast him. What needs to be understood is how the grooming in media works, ply the stars with drunk & drugs and then make money from the sensationalised stories of them then getting into scrapes. It’s worse in music as when the talent are then dead at 27 they make even more money out of the royalties and dead music star. We have to change this, you can have a good time and not end up a fucked up and in pure pain & suffering and polarity of having ‘the dream’ but not being able to deal with all that comes with it as nobody truly looking after you. I’m an artist manager and I have a duty of care that most behind the scenes of show business don’t have
