Trip to the Tip Day 7 - Eliot Falls Mermaids

Day 7 of our Trip to the Tip of Australia, a relaxing Sunday of swimming in waterfalls and searching for mermaids.
We started off the day waking up in our camp at Canal Creek.
Brandon & Tess went for a walk to check the yabbie pots and took photos of some cool minature plants & sundews along the way. After breakfast the family ventured to Fruitbat Falls & then Eliot Falls, leaving Granddad behind for some much needed rest & relaxation.
The creeks & waterfalls where stunning, a shimmering turquoise oasis amidst a harsh dusty outback. After lunch we went off in search of the elusive Cape York mermaids and managed to capture some footage and a few amazing photos!
