The sooner we realize that this world is not our friend, and that no matter how much we think we know, we are always in deep need of learning more about Jesus. We are human and prone to be selfish people, thinking of our pain all day. But be thankful in everything instead because this will help us live in a grateful manner and we will have more peace. We will always face challenges and trials but this is how we grow closer to our Savior. This life will never be easy but with Jesus by our side we are truly blessed already. Think about that and meditate on His goodness! Lord help us to let go of everything , knowing we too have hurt people and nobody is perfect. Only You Lord; can help us be the children You have called us to be. Lord help me everyday and please hold my hand throughout this life. In Jesus name amen.

Thank you Pastor Allen for causing me to press in more to Jesus. It seems God is silent or unaware of the plight our country is facing. But we know God is in control - we just need to take his word seriously and turn from sin, obey his commands and he will forgive and heal our land. He is talking to US, His people, not the lost.
