Saw this amazin' band live at The Boys Of Ballisodare music festival in 1979 with Clannad 'n Planxty also headlinin'. Little did we know it would be the last ever Bothy Band live gig. What a weekend!!!
All those bell-bottomed jeans. Only Triona wasn't trendy. She always looked a bit frumpy. But made up for that with her amazing playing. Take out that harpsichord and you realise how many of the key moments she was crucial to, those moments where you just want to punch the air with joy.
