    You should totally check out the fantasy novel, 'Timbuktu Chronicles: Aida and the Chosen Soldier.' I got it as a gift last year, and even though it blends fantasy and history, it completely changed my perception of African history.

    I find it downright offensive that they keep saying West Africa while simultaneously refusing to acknowledge this so-called African American, Brazilian, Haitian, West Indian, Jamaican, European-african etc etc
