It’s a real joy to watch but I worked in nhs for a long time and I’m concerned with that high stretch you have to do to put in the panels that’s so bad for spinal compression couldn’t you and your dad come up with some frame with pulleys to lift it up and carry it on the lorry 🚛 wonderful job such dedication to customer 🤗

@@happygardener3990 I don't think this is the last we'll see of this fence. Enclosing the Highways land is what will cause the biggest problem, but that is going to be even more noticeable because it is too high.
@@thepotterer3726 Quite agree. But who will accept the liability and costs if it has to come down? have you looked at the cost/benefits of buying and what use it would get with a posing auger? I think unless you doing a lot of new/greenfield build it would not get that much use - also with this build did you have to scan for wires etc?
Brilliant job again. I also recently did 4 bays of fencing but was under the impression you could only go 6' high..? Or i would of definitely gone higher..! Is it a case of just do it and hopefully no neighbours complain or can you actually go that high.? Anyway , it still looks good.
Another question for dad and son when digging out the hole for the post why do you do it by hand when theres machinery that would eat the ground in seconds 🤷♂️
Maybe by doing it by hand (partly) you’d have more chance of spotting any potential issues that may lay in within the hole ie cable etc, if you use the auger (mechanical) & just bore straight your going into the unknown? 🤷🏻♂️🧐
