After we explored all around the west coast of Koh Chang, its time to do the same on the less known east coast of the Thailand island. The eastern side of Koh Chang is less busy, you see less hotels, less villages and less people. Koh Chang’s east side has a lot of beautiful nature to offer. When you come to the Trat province in Thailand, definitely visit Koh Chang and then also check out the stunning east coast of this Thailand island.

for you next visit to Koh Chang , driver further to the south on that East part. Over there you could hire a kayak to go to a small island (very close) with beautiful beaches.

Damn, it’s so sunny there. Currently on Phuket and it’s a nightmare. Rain all day long. About to go back to Phuket and then to the north. Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai soon!

I tried coconut many times in Chonburi, i am not sure if this is depends on province but i could say that Philippine coconut is better in taste, since i feel that it more sweet that those i tried. but overall Thai fruits was better :D

Hi Ken - love the videos but.... :) This quest to find a 7/11 t-shirt I find strange. I traveled all over SEA and for me I hate this brand - it ruined all the nice islands and the look and feel of local villages. It's ugly (the store-front) and every 300 meters I see a 7/11 makes me quite mad. Just saying. Not hating on you, just my thought :)

The name of the Bar towards the end of your video is very funny. The colour of the sunset view here is very beautiful. The owner of the bar there came from New Orleans and his wife is a Thai. They both chose one of the most beautiful and peaceful place to live for good. Wow...

Koh Chang is also my favourite destination in Thailand. Roads are quiet and island is great for exploring on motorbike. Hope to go there next year.
Been to long beach in 2018. There were basic accommodation available there. The beach itself is not impressive, lots of stones. You missed the war memorial. I remember the F you bar also. I took a pic :)
Definitely worth the trip from the west. Beautiful scenery, very peaceful! Excellent once again. Keep safe my friend.

Man kann noch weiter fahren bis zum Memorial, da ist der Strand vielleicht noch etwas schöner ! Dort hab ich meine Drohne auch noch einmal fliegen lassen in 2019.

Koh Chang is Elephant Island, right? 🐘 You should get those long sleeves they sell by the side of the road in Bangkok, with the fake tattoos - to keep the sun off... If you like views like this, when you get to Indonesia you should visit Lake Toba. I took a lot of photos when I went some years ago.

You missed the location Koh Chang memorial beach and Thantawan Resort end of east coast road. It was very near from your last location. Awesome view from this resort. I think you get fantastic drone view. ❤️
Ken,you did a mistake, the guy you met in long beach called Jo (Joseph) is a thai guy not an american. His father was american and his mother is thai. Jo was born in Thailand and has always lived in Thailand, but it doesn't matter, he is a very nice funny and friendly guy.

That dog and the sunset stole the scene. I have screenshot the shop and keep it. When I come next time, I will spend the day with him before going for the sunset. Thais are very positive people because they believe in karma.

I imagine the ride back in the dark was pretty epic as well! I rode from Kae Bae to lonely beach and back one night in the dark, it was scary as hell, definately not recommended. Dangerous as hell. When driving uphill the cars coming against you shone the headlights directly at you (car headlights shine downwards) leaving you blinded.
That beach looks lovely and I bet it is better at low tide, you have to feel sorry for the people that have had no customers for so long!
Fully agree the view at the east coast of Koh Chang is stunning, especially the sunset view at the bay. Love your exploration of the unknown parts of the island, I am sure many will visit Koh Chang after watching your videos. The plastic device that Joseph used to pour the fuel into the tank of his bike is called funnel. I am sure the cute dog enjoyed the ride on Joseph's bike.

War letztes Jahr im März am Lonely Beach gewesen. Bin jetzt auch wieder auf Koh Chang und werde die Tage mal hinfahren. Diese Insel ist einfach ein Traum! Befürchte nur das die Ostküste auch irgendwann zu gepflastert wird mit Hotels und Resorts.
