@@sparkybish the pigment doesn't really change much, but you need everything very well mixed with whatever curing agent you are using. When going to the end point "everything is perfectly blended" everything can just be added, but otherwise each component would have to be pre mixed with cure.
Actually,we could throw in one by another with these pigment,but that takes time.Normally,we have efficiency requirement to fabricate them as soon as possible.
I know what you mean, I work with polymer clay (not the same of course) but when you put several colors in the pasta machine to mix them up sometimes I stop half way because I get a marbled mix of colors that look so nice it would be a shame to keep going!

I missed the opportunities I had from 40 years of engineering for architects for everything from hospital projects to microelectronics clean rooms. The world could have enjoyed watching me make arc fault calculations. I could add appropriate background music as I alter specs so that the flash only throws the tech against the wall but not fried to a crisp.
It's raw uncured silicone, once the colour is correct they mix a vulcanising agent into it then press it into the final product shapes in a heated press which cures it into rubbery silicone.
With colors like those thrown in together, I half wish they'd leave them only partially mixed, so it'd be left with a nice marbled color pattern
Would have to do a different mixing sequence for that. The totally mixed color also indicates a totally mixed in curing agent
I don’t think the pigment has the same properties as the homogenized color. They would have to mix the colors separately and then marble them.

I used to use a mill this size in the lab to make half this amount for testing…. before I’d make a full batch on a 48” mill.
