Love your insights, they are so helpful! Unlike other channels, I really like how in-depth are your razor comparisons. I wish I've watched this earlier though as I've placed an order for TGS Bayonetta three days ago, as I found the Henson AL13+ a bit too mild. Maybe I will get Syntesi as my next razor. @thecanest the bayonetta definitely has more blade feel then the Henson mild. I did find the Syntesi even more efficient but also more mild then the bayonetta in feel for future purchase info .🤣 I’m glad you enjoy all the info. I try to represent the info as if I was a viewer wanting info.
I ended up with this very razor after trying to get, per your recommendations, the Rocca. My first shave on 4 days growth was very pleasant. While it needs to be washed off more frequently than my open comb razor, it feels quieter and safer. The efficiency of this razor is very impressive and I bet the tight tolerances took some time and effort to perfect. I doubt I'll be looking for another razor any time soon but I'll keep watching your videos.
@aovint63 the rocca is a great one. Yes more rinsing than an OC but I bet it rinses easier than most closed combs. My buddy said it best. Take slow smooth long strokes with the rocca it gets even better. My favorite blade is the filoso in the rocca. Great combo! Thanks for watching! You will have a whole set of great razors soon 🤣

@aovint63 if you want the metal handle rocca someone is selling them for $55 on AliExpress. A guy bought one to see if it was fake or would even come. He has a real rocca and even shave wise said it’s identical. No one knows if they are stolen, fakes or just sold at Pennie’s over cost. Either way hard to not consider! With a Filoso blade the rocca is show stopper smooth.

I fully agree with you that milder razors give you the opportunity to buff and get the smooth shave you want without the fear of agitation on the sensitive areas. A milder razor paired with the blade that works for you seems the way to go for me as well.
@jaytekkenX if you like razors in the Rockwell 3/4 plate arena you should love it. With a sharp blade it’s very efficient but with a mild blade like a filoso very smooth and nice.

@kaireeves1210 I meant the .84. I have since put 2 DE blade shims in the .84 making it a 1.04 so very close to the 1.05 plate. I can finally get BBS with the gamechanger. It’s not as smooth as the rocca at the 1.04 gap though.
Since you have both the Yaqi Ghost 70 and the Syntesi how do they compare? Both said to be on the Rockwell 3-4 plate range. Price on them seams to be on pair with Black Friday is close.
Try the Razorock BBS. it’s very smooth. Easy to use. Definitely a daily use razor. Razorock makes a fantastic line of Razors. Also you can try the PAA META-4.. I don’t have this razor, but many say it’s a very smooth razor.
Marck78 I had the bbs standard. I don’t like the super bent blade razors. They irritate my face almost like razor burn. The standard plate wasn’t efficient enough for me but I was reluctant to go more aggressive.
The one razor that I found that didn’t work at all is the timeless aluminum beginniner razor I don’t know why but it was awful even with a dorco blade it was dispointing
@jonathanlewis-gf1lu if you mean the sb45 timeless aluminum I wouldn’t consider that a beginner razor. It has decent blade feel. Did you only try the one dorco blade? I tried every dorco blade they make & I can’t use any of them. The dorco titan was ok but my point is blades can make or break the shave. Always try a few brand blades in a razor.

I don't like their handle while I like the possibility to choice, something that should be natural especially in presence of a three piece shaving razor ... Note: Subie on one of his videos said that even the two piece adjustable razor from Yaqi can interchange the handle between themself. So a lot better than nothing at all, as happen usually, for two piece razor.
I have not tried any of the Goodfellas razors yet. Great video and you definitely increased my appetite for them. By the way, I love Silky Smooth! Totally unique. I told him that I wanted to do an imitation of him on my channel. He said go for it. I chickened out. I realized that there can’t be imitations. Best regards, Glenn

For me it's the exposure that gets you. The Syntesi is barely positive at .018 - ideal for a smooth shave!

@gonoszteddtmaci Syntesi is much smoother and nicer to use. Ghost 70sp has a rougher feel too it.
Try the Razorock BBS. it’s very smooth. Easy to use. Definitely a daily use razor. Razorock makes a fantastic line of Razors. Also you can try the PAA META-4.. I don’t have this razor, but many say it’s a very smooth razor.
