You bring up his age but last season he scored 7 leauge goals in 4 matches. He played 36 times in the leauge starting 30+ consecutive games we've seen what he can do and it isn't much. People claiming he's good either fell for the ronaldo celebrations or don't understand what is needed to be an effective wide forward. Ignoring goals scored and just looking at the attributes and qualities that make a player great he lacks so much that's why it's easy to his ceiling isn't much higher than his current level.

Mainoo is getting slower as he grows and fills out , already too slow for PL. We need a good midfielder to play with Urgarte. Wing backs won't help if we don't fix the middle. I would play Martinez over Mainoo in midfield.
Mainoo isnt necessarily to blame for the loss of control he came on and erikson one of our more cultured players came off. We wouldn't cede control if it was a swap for swap but instead the manager moved Mainoo to the 8 and bruno to the 10, bruno when not tasked with the responsibility of the 8 immediately regresses to his worst version more careless and forceful with his decision making whether he is executing or not. Add on to that Mainoos lack of physicality and defensive awareness the lack of control was inevitable. Then introducing hojland for another one of our few technically secure players zirkzee means nothing is going to stick up front and our attacking cohesiveness and link play nose dives. The managers at fault for the way the game decended into chaos

I think ur being a bit harsh on Garnacho I think this was one of his better games ngl. He was our most dangerous player especially in the 2nd half constantly cooking Yilmaz. Yes his end product should’ve been better but overall he was a threat. I’m saying it now tho forget the Fulham game they’re gunna absolutely batter us probably be 4-0.
