Man this brings me back. Opposite side of the coin but... I had a Grave domain Cleric. His backstory was summed up as Never again. He watched everything he loved die as a powerless child from priests and paladins all the way to a balenorn protector failing in stopping a tidal wave of undeath, lead by a lich with delusion of godhood. It marked him and never did he forget his duty even when it lead to his death. "In life, I shall purify the lost and the damned. In death I am but the servant of the Goddess." His last words before using his life as a resource to cast Divine Intervention outside of his level to impress upon their deity the impetuous of the situation. Dm had me roll and I passed them, with near nat-20s. While the goddess couldn't return me to life she would atleast see that my Sacrifice is never forgotten in the living lands. The Saint of Sacrifice whos steps are unwavering to their duty even unto their death.
By Caduceus Clay's glorious Grave Clericness, this is just epic. (Yes I'm a Critical Role fan before you ask lol.) Still, this is definitely an amazing song, and I'm glad a dear friend of mine sent me a link to your Vengeance Paladin song because THAT was pretty damn amazing as well.
We could do classes, but the conflict is what makes D&D. Choose your arena of swords, magic, words, or ideas. But the conflict between good, evil, and the morally grey is what turns it from a travel simulator to an adventure.
@BardStrike D&D is a game of melodrama and consequences. There is always something that drives a campaign. Something that the characters need to do. If it is a war campaign, the next fight, and consequences of victory or defeat and where that leads them. Will the dark hordes overrun the land or will you stand firm? If a political game, will you sway the people and leaders with smooth words and manipulation or will you end up jailed, exiled, or made an example of? If magic? There are full tales of epic success and failures. Legendary places like Myth Dranor or people like Elminster exemplify both. Imagine coming to the height of magic, only for it to collapse around you or being the person trying to hold it together when magic goes wrong. Make a choice, suffer the consequences for good or ill. Always moving forward to triumph or ruin. That is what makes D&D great and why we keep coming back. To find out what happens next and to take control of our own fates in a story that is as epic as we make it.
@@BardStrike D&D is melodrama and struggle. Heroes and villains. Fights, skirmishes, battles, wars... If it is a combat campaign, the players will have to find a way to fight and win or die trying. With words and politics, can you negotiate, convince or incite people or leaders to action for support of your goals or against their doom? Magic... The tales of epic magic are the things of legend. Myth Dranor at the height of its magical power... Or the depths of its terror as magic ripped it apart. Elminster and his constant battles to keep magic both alive and in check. D&D isn't just one of these, it's all of these while trying to figure out the best answer... Even when they're are nothing but bad options, a sacrifice, or maybe even a glimmer of hope. D&D is taking control of your fate and creating something great... even legendary.
So, how many of the Death Clerics actually depicted in this song's video, had the 'Haunted One' as their Background? Because I'm seeing a lot of lanterns with eerie green flames burning within them!
wow! totally awesome, kinda reminds me of a character I created and still use from time to time. His name is Bensvelk Vur Malsvir. He's an Underworld Guardian, sent to the overworld to collect and send lost souls and ghouls to Death. Bensvelk Vur Malsvir means "Good and Evil". It's so fitting when I heard this song. Thank you for sharing! Have an awesome day!
Most of them, if not all. More possible to create the ones suggested by all of you (and the ones I personally like🤣)! Echo Knight is already on my list!
I need something more, something I can get into so I can create a story and thus a song. Warlock paladin have a conflict. What's the essence of Life domain and Redemption?
@@BardStrike I could suggest something, namely an Oath of Conquest Paladin with a dash of Undead Patron Warlock mixed in, But You've already got 'Strength Above All' out to cover the main class of that mixture as is.
Technically speaking, the dullahan is actually supposed to be a Fae of the Winter Court. I can sort of understand why WoTC decided to label the dullahan as an undead instead, but it does make one wonder.
I have been playing with Suno for my sons hockey videos (I havent used any yet, but I am gathering a stockpile of songs) - do you have tips on getting the songs to sound so good? I feel like my biggest struggle is choosing the right genre/music type. Anyway, I freakin love your videos, please keep it up!
Thank you sooo much! I was struggling too in the beggining. What I've realised is that female vocals are easier for the ai to create. Also I've used thousands of regenerations (literally) to get the best prompts. My recommendation is to read the suno help guide and also use some suno prompt websites. Also it helps to give proprer song structure (also in suno help guide). Hope this helps!
@@BardStrike Lovely, thank you my friend! Yeah so far I have been just brute forcing it, and getting 1 good song out of like 20, I will spend the time reading the docs ❤ thank you!

Well...that scope really gave me a new perspective. Some new ideas for songs....let's just say you gave me a bardic inspiration
@@BardStrike What can I say. As a DM I am a weaver of tales... And I do love a good cup of tears from time to time. 😁
Great work. Balsam to my soul in times of pop
Rock on brother! Thanks a lot!
Beautifully made , nice job

Hahaha 😆 😂 not gonna lie, I took inspiration from Thresh from League of Legends
This gave me an idea for a Flesh Golem Death Cleric

Monsters like the dullahan or vampires keep spooky season going!
Anything to keep Mariah Carey from returning!
