The tunnel shot reminds me of watching three successive Deltic departures from KX (1550 Leeds Exec, 1555 Bradford Exec and 1600 Edinburgh) disappear into Copenhagen tunnel, be followed by an Up train or two acting as pistons purging enormous plumes of smoke back out the portal🤣
I had the privilege of having a cab ride in 22 when Martin Walker owned 22 and 16. I used to be a volunteer on the East Lancashire Railway and i became good friends with Martin and still am.
