Olá Luís, 134 quilómetros, que grande desempenho, meu amigo! Havia muitos concorrentes, mas acabaste bem colocado. Não vi uma única bicicleta de gravel, apesar de a pista estar perfeitamente adaptada a este tipo de bicicleta. Esta prova era só para bicicletas de montanha? Muito bem, mais uma vez, e bom fim de semana.✌️
Obrigado meu amigo. Sim, a prova também tinha categoria Gravel, mas a organização da prova optou por fazer as gravel iniciarem 15 minutos depois, e por isso quase não os vimos. Aos 12:41 do vídeo passou o 1º classificado das gravel, e mais tarde fui passado por outros 3, mas nessa altura eu não ia a filmar. Obrigado pelo teu apoio constante que eu aprecio muito. Thank you Christoph. This was a really flat course, just 2.100m D+ elevation and 140km in distance. This type of terrain is quite common in the interior south of Portugal, almost like a semi-desert area. It is in this region that Portugal's population density is lowest, and sometimes we need to travel many kilometers before finding a house or a small village (as you can see from the images).

Question, are all these races part of a bigger serries and do you get points for each of them? Also, is it legal to draft on those longer flat sections? Yes, it's legal to draft other participants, just like in road cycling. I think it's only not allowed in time trials, but in this type of race, yes. This particular race does not belong to any series. Unfortunately, the ultra marathon series (Ultra Series Championship) in Portugal no longer exists, and the last one (that I know of) was in 2018 and that year I won the M30-39 category. But despite there not being a series, many organizations continued their competitions as there are usually a lot of people participating.
