Jeffrey The Greek’s analysis of the OC higher process and what Lester brings to the table was the best I have heard. Puts to shame the other sites.
Jeffrey has to be one of, if not the most knowledgeable people I know and/or have worked with. He did a tremendous job of breaking this down.
@@Bigtenshow Jeff was dead on with his analysis.
I watched a film break down of TL's offensive schemes and was impressed by the downfield blocking. All positions block and blocked well. Iowa fans know that is KF's thing for sure. You don't block, you don't play. I believe hiring Lester was easy for Ferentz. It has been a lot harder on the fans but Jeffery seems to get it.
Before Sunny said it... I was thinking, "these guys are fun to listen to because they get along so well and respect one another." Great show.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Our goal is to give a little something different, make sure the show is fun but also informative, so we have committed to making sure our guest analysts are people we enjoy even just having regular conversation with, not trying to follow a script or pre-plan how the video is going to go, just record and let the conversations happen organically. Thank you again, that means a lot to us!
Did Jeff play at Iowa? Im just wondering because he refers to kirk ferentz as Kf. Usually only former Iowa players do that.
Hi Jonathan, yes he did! Good catch & thanks for watching!
@@Bigtenshow cool! Thanks!
Great 👍thanks
Other people in the program could've been searching for a coach. He did this out of spite. 100%
Sounds like a good man which is great but his coaching history. Especially at Syracuse is weak at best. His history is the MAC conference. They don't play anybody that has solid defense. Generally, if you want to go by his only stand in a power five at Syracuse it was horrible. although I guess all the quarterbacks kept getting hurt, underwhelming choice for of the best schools in the country record wise the last 10 years. I never suspected Iowa would hire a Let's hope it's a good pick. I thought they would get a for sure good pic.. the mere fact that you gentlemen had to do digging into why he might be a good hir Already reveals it's a reach, and it looks more like somebody who will follow Kirk's philosophy of complementary football although we don't have complementary football especially the last three years because the offense has been garbage. We have to hope it was a good pick at this time and there was nowhere to go but up.
It may have been the right thing to do by waiting to start search until after season, but I believe Kirk thought that people would be lining up to be on staff and that clearly turned out to be not the case.
Worst…hire…ever. Ferentz, kindly ride off into the sunset already.
You can pay me 1 million to be dead last in all college football at offense! Sign me up! Probably be as good as last two iowa OCs or as bad depends how you see it 😉
Lib. governments stance on immigration law reminds me of Iowa hawks football offense. It’s written and announced that we have it but there’s no evidence to be found.
One more year if he gets 200 WINS! He wants that RECORD.
If Lester works out, terrific. However, not spending some time on the OC search in lieu of sinking all effort into two games there was no chance to win (Michigan and Tennessee) seems ill-advised.
I cannot believe how good this was. These guys have honesty and do not put on the homer blinders. THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for the kind words Shawn 🙏 Biased opinions are everywhere and quite honestly tend to be lazy. We want to make sure every team gets their platform and when they do, have someone who knows the program inside and out to not only help me and Sunny be able to ask questions and learn more, but in turn, help ya'll take something away as well. Thank you so much again man and appreciate the comment and support
